Everything was wonderful. The crew (Bill & Clay) were so professional and precise in their work. They were very meticulous and careful - and cleaned up after each day of work. They came on time and worked very **** ** this difficult job. Our roof and gables are very high. I have also previously had inside painting done by Lewiston & Sons which was excellent. I would recommend Lewiston to anybody needing work done. They are terrific!!

I can’t say enough good things about Pete Lewiston and Lewiston & Sons Painting and Construction. I used them for exterior woodworking repairs and masonry repairs. Pete is a very nice, very professional and very conscientious contractor. He is very knowledgeable about construction (he also is a home inspector), has very good people who work for him and know what they are doing, and he oversees every step of the work. Also, Pete is fair and reasonable with the cost of the work. I was so pleased with the quality and cost of the work that I plan to use Lewiston & Sons for a major home remodeling project in the future. Five stars; I recommend him without reservation.

Lewiston and Sons was a great decision for my trim painting and for a small room on the interior. Their work was flawless. They cleaned up every day before they left the job and were a real pleasure to work with. Very competitively priced. Excellent work. I'd highly recommend them.

They did a fantastic job! They caulked where it needed (inside and out), they were diligent and detail-oriented to do the walls one color and trim another with no overlap. This job was extensive and was finished in a very timely manner. Will use them again and again!

He replaced boards needing to be replaced and the job was clean and thorough. Second time I have used them to paint my house and I HIGHLY recommend them. Complete job took 4 days in this extreme heat. My house is brick so he did the trim around the house and the back patio and I have a shed that was included. Good communications with you also.

They did a fantastic job! I am especially appreciative of their attention to detail as well as customer service. I'm rarely comfortable allowing workers in my home, but I was completely at ease with Pete and Bill. The job was expected to take four, possibly five days, but they finished after three and a half. They came with at plan and executed nicely. They were attentive and respectful of my property as went above and beyond as far as protecting it went. They covered the floor, even though it is being taken out next week. Even though they finished quicker than expected, they took their time and did not rush. Once they finished, cleanup was smooth due to proper prepping. I have had my house painted before where there was a plenty of mess to contend with. They left the house neat and cleaned up after themselves each day. Both in planning my project and execution, Mr. Lewiston was very professional. I would use them again and again, and they will be the ones I call for my next project.

He washed the house thoroughly before starting, then came back and sanded, caulked and primed everything. They then came back to replace rotted boards with Hardy Planks. They did a very nice job, cleaned up after themselves and did a good job at protecting the outdoor plants.

The exterior of this home suffered from premature aging and weathering due to poor craftsmanship buy the builder.  These folks came in and literally refinished the entire exterior surfaces including doors and chimney.  First of all they are courteous, honest and timely.  They also communicate with the owner and occupants keeping them informed of each and every step. I am proud of the first class service and quality they provided my family.

They started as scheduled and even came the day after Thanksgiving to continue their work.  They were meticulous and really paid attention to the details.  They cleaned up after themselves daily and at the end of the job.  They were quite, courteous and very knowledgeable about their work.  I felt like they treated my home just like they would have treated their own. I will use this company for all my painting and around the house needs.

Mr. Lewiston responded very quickly to me, and came to give the estimate.  He is very professional. The communication regarding the color and schedule was very good.  This is a family business of a father and two sons.  His son Peter was the one who painted, and did an excellent job.  We have had other painters in the past, but Mr. Lewiston and his son did a much better job, all around, than I have experienced in the past.  Peter also kept in communication with me to coordinate it all.  I highly recommend Lewiston and Sons.  We will definitely have them back for any of our future painting needs.

First and foremost, Lewiston and Sons are well known throughout the community and come highly recommended by friends!  When you want the best, look no further!!!!  Although anyone can throw paint on a wall, very few painters can turn your house into a thing of beauty.  I've dealt with many painters throughout the years and I was very impressed by Pete Lewiston from the very first day we met.  They have a constant backlog due to the high quality and professional service they provide!  I have yet to meet someone who takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond in making sure the customer is happy.  I felt very comfortable turning the keys over to Pete Lewiston and letting them work their magic by transforming my house into a place of beauty.  Lewiston and Sons have a method and technique they use on every job which ensures high quality results.  This includes tremendous preparation before work begins, covering areas as needed, removal of ceiling fixtures, door locks, covering light switches/outlets prior to painting, cleaning up each and everyday, showing up on time, explaining things in detail, dressing professionally, and providing advice on what would look best.  They use high quality paint and apply paint in multiple layers much as you would do on a paint job related to a high performance sports car.  It is also rare when you can meet a painter who is able to stain as well as they paint.  Although the techniques may be similar, staining and staining over existing cabinets is very difficult to do....and yet they do it so well!!!!  All of my cabinets throughout the house are now the same color and finish and look gorgeous!!!!  I am very satisified with Lewiston and Sons and they come highly recommended from me!  I hate creating reviews and this time I don't mind at all!!!!  It's rare when you come across someone who is so talented and gifted.  I look forward to using them again!!!!

The job was outstanding. This has to be the best contractor experience I have ever had. The crew was fast clean and professional. They cleaned up everyday and no detail went unnoticed. The color match was perfect. The crew arrived on time every morning ready to work. I am completely satisfied with the project and would not hesitate to use them again.

My 10 year old home was in need of some maintenance on the non-brick concrete sliding.  I needed some trim replacement, lots of caulking and I really wanted to upgrade the builders grade paint.
Mr. Lewiston was really patient and professional through the entire process.  I wanted an estimate and then I had to wait a good six months to plan for the expense.  Mr. Lewiston was never pushy or impatient with me.  He emailed me once after the quote to verify I had received the information and when I explained I would need some time, he just said no problem, I'll keep this quote active, you let me know when you are ready.
Once his guys were onsite - everything went beautifully.  The job took about 5 days and each day when they left - it was like they were never there - because they kept everything SO CLEAN.
I'm really picky about garbage in the yard and there just wasn't anything left.  Even the days they were power washing - it was just kept clean and neat.
I'm really happy with the results.  High quality paint, friendly service,  You can't go wrong with these guys.

They came exactly when they said they would and we're done within 3 days (excepting the stone which didn't come in yet) they made zero mess outside the house and hauled away the old siding without being asked. My husband is particular about his grass and they kept their trucks off of it , again without being asked. Inside the house , they moved the bedroom furniture AND kin knacks none of which I had taken off shelves etc. and replaced everything in its spot when they were done. I didn't know they had finished painting until I looked really well because nothing was out of place. I was very happy with the overall job and how reliable they were. I also liked the fact that they are a family owned Christian business who I felt I could trust to do a great job - and they did.
