I went with Dan initially because he could provide all the treatments I needed:  plantation shutters, solar screens, and shades.
Dan was prompt in coming out to measure and very meticulous in getting accurate measurements.  We actually discovered one large window was slightly skewed, which Dan tactfully adjusted for in final installation.  He emailed detailed estimate promptly.  
Had to wait several weeks for shutters to be manufactured and shipped, which Dan informed me about before we made the deal. Dan is a perfectionist and knows his craft.  I deferred several decisions as to molding and styling to his judgement and glad I did.  I'll definitely use A+ again.  I can highly recommend Dan!!

We got 3 other quotes before we called Dan Ayres.  He gave us more information than the other 3 contractors combined.  We were able to make a more informed decision on what we wanted.  He made all of the measurements, placed the order and installed 28 blinds.  He was very efficient and fast.  The manufacturer cut one blind incorrectly and the arch was on back order.  As soon as he received the last 2 blinds, he installed them.  He stayed in contact and did what he said he would do and on the days and time he said he would be here.  He is very personable. 
A+ Blinds pricing is very competitive.  We feel like we got an excellent quality product and service. 
I would hire this company again and recommend him to everyone.  I feel like I get better service from locally owned companies. 

Dan gave suggestions and pointed out the pros and cons of the different types of blinds during the initial visit. He was very prepared with several samples. Overall I am pleased with the quality and installation but I am second guessing myself on the style I picked. On the date of delivery Dan was caught up on another job across town and was late. While I certainly understand those things happen, I would have appreciated a call to let me know so as not to wait around unnecessarily. Once I got in touch with him we worked out a different time for the same day so it worked out. All in all, I would recommend Dan. He knows his business and is a hard worker.

He is very detailed, great at installation, and great at customer service.  He is very professional at everything he does.

Dan was great.  Had a large selection to choose from, reasonably priced and provided a quick turn around time.  He was even able to install right after Christmas so I had it done before the new year.

They also installed sun shades on two large bow windows in our dining room and a bedroom. I would certainly use this company again. The price was good and they were professional in all they did.

It was a good experience and I will use them again in the future.
