Bathtub Installation and Replacement
Predatory Sales Practices: During the sales process, my credit was run three separate times. Each time, the proposed financing terms became progressively worse, which I believe was an intentional tactic to pressure me into accepting unfavorable payment terms. Faulty Installation: The installed walk-in shower does not meet the proper specifications for the required seat size. Because of this, water leaks from the shower onto the floor, creating a serious safety hazard for my elderly mother. Unresolved Dispute and Lack of Accountability: I raised this issue with both Zintec and the credit company. However, my dispute was declined because I could not obtain contractor estimates to fix the faulty work within a one-week deadline?despite the fact that I have been waiting on Zintec for a resolution since the beginning of this year. Zintec?s only response has been to offer a $250 gift card, which does not come close to addressing the cost of repairs or the financial and emotional distress t

"Brandon, We have been in active communication with the customer since they first contacted us earlier this year. Our production team has made multiple site visits and assessments to address the concerns raised about the shower installation. During our recent conversations, the customer's son indicated he does not want a shower door installed and requested that we remove the current installation and replace it with a larger shower base. Our team carefully evaluated this request and identified significant concerns: 1. Safety and Accessibility: Installing a larger base in the existing bathroom layout would encroach on the toilet area, leaving insufficient space for safe toilet use. Specifically, there would be no area for the customer's mother to safely place her feet when getting off the toilet, as she would be standing directly on the shower base. 2. Building Code Compliance: This modification could potentially violate local building codes regarding required clearances around fixtures, which exist specifically to ensure safety and accessibility?particularly important given the customer's mother's age and mobility needs. 3. Liability Concerns: Given these safety considerations, proceeding with the requested modification could create a greater fall risk and safety hazard than the current installation. We offered a goodwill gesture while working to identify a solution that addresses the water concerns while maintaining proper safety standards and code compliance. Our goal is to find a resolution that truly serves the safety and accessibility needs of the customer's elderly mother. Quality was poor and they damaged my towel bar and scratched my toilet seat. Water was leaking thru the bottom and I ended up fixing it up myself.

This is my second update of my review. They remodeled two of our bathrooms (complete remodel). The final result is nice, but the path getting there was not smooth, with some rework. If I were going to do it all over, I might have picked them to do the shower and tub/shower and another contractor for the rest of the work. If you do have them do a full remodel, pay attention to details and stand firm, they will eventually make it right.

We had an excellent experience having two new showers installed in our home. Our local BathPlanet team was wonderful, from the sales person to the office manager to the installers (we had different installers for each project, too, and both were great). Not only were they professional, attentive to detail, and responsive, they were also kind, friendly, funny, and a pleasure to have in our home. The quality of the work was excellent, and our showers look wonderful. I highly recommend this company, and I would absolutely hire them again.

We had our 2 bathrooms countertops replaced and shower doors installed . We have double sink countertops and a walk in shower and tub. They look beautiful. The countertops were replaced and faucet fixtures . They cleaned up after they finished and we were very happy...Thank you Bath-Planet...

The workers were very professional, and did the job in about 1 1/2 days. The only thing I don't think I got the "water shield" doors on my shower like I thought. Maybe something should have been sprayed on them but they do have water spots. I have expressed this to the rep and she was checking it out. Other than that I am very pleased and would recommend them.

There are ways to remodel your bathroom that are cheaper than using Bath Planet, but the confidence of quality and the 100% assurance of not having to do this again, makes the extras worth it. Our shower is beautiful and sturdy and perfect.

We hired Bath Planet to remove an existing tub and wall, and install a walk-in shower plus change out the flooring. The price was higher than I had hoped for, but we're very pleased with the results. Guy was a professional and diligent installer.

The workers were on time. They always cleaned up their mess at the end of the day. I would recommend the workers to my friends. The sells man was very pushy. We had to decide that day. We like to think about it and see other offers. BathPlanet is very high priced. For that reason we would not recommend BathPlanet.
