Our home is covered by a home warranty and we do not have a say in who willl respond to our need. In this case we noticed our AC unit was not running at 11 p.m. on a Sunday evening. We filed a service request with American Home Shield and they assigned our call to JCL A/C and Heating. At 8:15 a.m. we confirmed an appointment between 2 PM and 4 PM on Monday. At 1 p.m. JCL called and asked if they could come now.
They arrived within ten minutes....checked the control inside the home. It was good. A trip in the attic and they discovered a fuse had blown. Outside at the unit, they found that a thermostat wire on the condenser was broken. Replaced it with new wiring and within 20 or so minutes from arrival, we had air.
This was the third time since 2011 JCL had responded to an air conditioning problem and they have been most efficient in resolving the problem.
