I had to call Henry and beg him to come to work, and, even then, he did not show up. At first, he gave what seemed to be legitimate excuses for not showing up to work, but after doing that so many times, I realized that he was just lying to me at every opportunity. I even asked him if he was sorry that he had taken a job in Crane since he lived in Midland, and he said that he was not sorry. At one time, he gave the excuse of his truck not working, and I even offered to drive to Midland and pick him up so that he could work for the day, but he refused that. He stopped answering my phone calls, would not call me back after I left him messages, but would always answer his phone when I would call him from a different phone number. I eventually hired other people to finish the work that I had paid Henry to do, and I definitely would never use him again or refer him to anyone else. I filed a civil suit against him and won, and I have since learned that a criminal suit has been filed against him.
The work that CE Construction had completed in 48 days was crap. They cannot tile correctly and they cannot stain cabinets without getting stain everywhere.
CE Construction set the drain incorrectly in the shower and i had to tear it out and start over.
they took grout and packed it on the edge of the tile and this was how they planned to transition from tile to wall.
They did not use bull-nose tile and just butted up the tile for corners and edges.
They would go days without showing up and then they would show up for a few hours and do nothing. Out of the 48 days they worked 11 of them.
I had to hire another company to finish the work that CE Construction started. The owner, Henry Munoz, will look you straight in the eyes and lie to you without blinking.
