Alldredge Gardens

We bought an oak tree on April 4th and got delivered yesterday May 18th, it takes that long. The tree we picked was beautiful and full of leaves, we picked it and paid for it. But then they brought our poor tree here merely having leaves left, the tips of its branches are leafless, it's like twigs, leaves that's left are it's either dead or wilted. The people who installed our poor tree say it's not their fault. And the guy we talk on the phone said "It looks good to me". So I say, Was he even there when we picked it up when we bought it? No, he wasn't! We have proof and the young nice guy who helped us that day knows how full of life the tree was. We have picture of then and now of the tree we bought. And now they're telling us "It looks good to me"? And stop by our yard without talking to us? How is that even possible? Because fyi this is not our first time buying trees and bushes from Aldredge Garden, we probably bought a lot of flowering plants and 5 trees in the past and this is our 6th tree. And this isn't the first time we had a problem with them. We are a returned customer thinking it might be different this time or even better, but NO, it's more horrible this time.

Was not courteous enough to return call as promised.

I was told that my tree will need cabling as it is growing in opposite directions. I haven't heard from them since.

Worse lawn care job ever received!  Mowing was ok, not everything was edged and nothing was cleaned up.  I called the company and made the complaint.  Long story short, they had to come out 4 more times and still was unacceptable work.  I received my bill of $300 pretty quickly.  I have yet to pay it as I am still angry over the issue.

Showed up on time. I actually didn't like one of the trees and they replanted a new one I selected no questions asked.

after trying to contact them for about a month, my husband had to call and he finally got them to come out to look at our property. they showed on time and he was professional and had great ideas. Prior to leaving he said that he would come up with several ideas that vary in price, and that we would have it within a few days. no email. after about two weeks not hearing back from them, I called and of course he was at lunch or at school, like all the other times, finally after about three weeks I went into the store. I left a message with the ladies that run the nursery, and their communication system is them writing on a piece of paper to put on the landscaping guys desk, whenever they get back. I had to tell the lady at the front that if I don't hear from him that I was going to find someone else. Well, he called me either the same day or the next day, but he said that he sent the email but it was to the wrong address. so I gave to him again, and again, he said that I would have an email in a few days. I gave him a few extras days because of the holiday but its been about two weeks and we still have not heard or received an email from them. we were referred to them by a friend, so I guess maybe they didn't like us, or our landscaping project wasn't worth their time?

I called them for lawn service, and was told that I would receive a phone call back that day after lunch. I did not receive that phone call, so I called at 5:00. The girl I talked to told me that the guy that was supposed to call me back had left for the day. If that is an indication of their commitment to customer service, I will look elsewhere.

They have a good selection of plants and garden supplies.

We met with someone at Alldrege Gardens on Thursday 7/11/2013 we were told we would be provided with a quote and be able to schedule the project by end of day that day. We never heard from them..... We called the following day Friday 7/12/2013 and got nothing. We Called Saturday 7/13/2013 and had no luck. I finally got in contact with this person at Alldrege Gardens Monday 7/15/2013 he claimed he had emailed us but was unable to provide us with the email that he sent this information to. I provided him with my email and my husbands email again and was told we would have something by end of day. We of course got nothing. I called Alldrege Gardens on Tuesday morning 7/16/2013 and spoke with a different person there. She was extremely rude and said there was nothing she could do...... We are going with someone else!

We contacted Alldredge Gardens to check and fix any broken lawn sprinklers, at our house. We were told that the closest appointment was 2 weeks from point of contact. We clearly set a date and a time with their scheduler.
On the appointed day, we made sure we were home from work but they never arrived. After repeated calls and messages, there was no response or reasons why. That was a week ago. No word has come yet.

Now that spring is here, we think it went very well. Trees have a nice presence in our landscape.

We had a two month wait once we signed the contract. Once installation started everything went very smooth. They were finished within the time they had given, and was completed to our satisfaction.

They do a very thorough job.

They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They even have two horticulturist on staff.

They have been diligent about checking on it. It was slowing down a little bit because of the grass and they came and deep fed it for me. I think they are excellent.

He said he didn't want to trim the branches that I wanted trimmed. I went in the house for ten minutes, and when I come back out he had cut off the branches and it looked like a telephone pole. I wouldn't use his services again in the future.

Alldredge Gardens Sprinkler return calls pretty quickly. Their service is very good. If a sprinkler head is run over by their lawn mowers they will replace it. We have used them for 15 years.

I was not happy with them. I was not satisfied with them. I met with their landscape designer and specifically told him the type of plants I did not want. They planted the type of plants that I did not want. They did not listen to what I wanted. I think their price is high. They have had to come back to replace the sod they laid. I am not impressed with them at all. I will not use them again.
