Action Air

The first unit never worked right, but every time we called, they responded. We went a whole west Texas summer with unreliable air conditioning. Action Air replaced the outside unit in September. When March of 2018, we needed cooling again and turned on the new unit. It worked once, but never again. We called Action Air and though our unit was no longer under warranty as it had been considered a "fix" for the first bad unit, Action Air got with Daikin and Daikin picked up the cost of a THIRD unit. Action Air installed it, replaced the register inside and we've been cool ever since. So, it spite of a really, REALLY bad start, Action Air finally made it right.

I own over 30 houses in Midland that I managed as rental property up until last year when I turned them over to a property manager.  I have told the property manager not to use anyone but Terry for all the plumbing and a/c problems.  I was always having to try to find someone to do the plumbing and a/c work for me that would be fair and not rip me off.  I had been using another company that did just that... Lonnie Johns... and I will never use them again.  I switched to Terry's years ago and have never been sorry.  Terry is someone you can trust and someone you can deal with and I can't speak highly enough of him.  If you use him and have a problem, he is someone you can easily talk to...not arrogant or difficult at all... he is a precious person....and that is a fact.

Terry and his family are the best.  I called 10 septic installers, only 2 showed up.  Terry gave me a bid that was half the cost of the other company.  He showed up immediately to start the work.  He set up all the inspections with the City and pumped the tank before they replaced it.  All of this was done with no extra charges.  They trimmed trees in their way and stacked the firewood for my fireplace.  He is a good man and so reliable that I would recommend you use him for your septic and plumbing services.  His HVAC man came out to look at my system to make it operational.  Again so kind and professional.  Good, good people.

The technician that came to our home was polite, clean and very efficient. He arrived in a truck that was well marked with the company name and wore a uniform identifying the company.

He was able to figure out what our problem was and gave us advice on how to prevent this type of failure from happening again.

After he was done with the job he left the work area clean and left us a comment card where I could give the company a review.

AC wasn't working. They came out and changed out the Compressor but it still wouldn't cool. They came out a second time and couldn't figure out what was wrong so they told me I needed to clean the outside unit. Very rude upon second visit. I complied and cleaned it(which I knew wasn't the problem but I did it anyway), and it still wouldn't cool. Called them out a third time and they couldn't figure it out...said it seemed to be fine. When I talked to the warranty company they were told by Action Air that I had damaged it when cleaning it so they couldn't fix it. Damage was present from beginning, which is what I think caused the cooling problem in the first place. Air is still doing the same thing it was 2 weeks ago so it's obvious it wasn't from cleaning it. Their technician David is very rude and couldn't figure out the problem so he's trying to put it on me so he doesn't have to deal with it anymore. Very frustrating. Will never do business with them again.
