TRIPLE A CERTIFIED FOUNDATION

I filed a complaint against them. What the issue was that when my dad had the foundation done back in ’07 and this guy did the foundation work. When my dad passed and I inherited the house, the whole left side of the house was falling in. I asked him to come back out because there was a 10-year warranty on it. He said he doesn’t have a 10-year warranty and doesn’t give 10-year warranties. I’ve got a contract that says I have a 10-yesr warranty. He treated me like a little woman. He was so condescending and his attitude was like, “You don’t know what you’re talking about, you’re just a woman.” He was right, I don’t have a clue what I’m talking about. But he didn’t have to treat me that way. I have filed against him with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and with Angie’s List. I also sent it to the AARP because my foundation was gonna cost me $12,000-15,000. A handyman showed me where the guy had screwed up on the foundation. He told me that the guy did a grade D job. I sent them an e-mail and she sent me back an e-mail saying that Angie’s List couldn’t help because I didn’t purchase from them, it was my dad. They can’t do anything as far as help me with this issue.

I am the process of purchasing the house and was told by the home inspector to contact the foundation company and have them come back out and look at the foundation since in his opinion the floor was slanting.
I contacted Triple A Certified Foundation/Darrell Chambers beginning on Monday, October 8 requesting that he come out and look at the foundation.  At that time Mr Chambers was cordial and I was told Mr. Chambers no longer lived in Mesquite (although he still performed work in Mesquite he had moved to Terrell) and he would need to look at his calendar and check to see when he would back in town.  He would call me back to let me know.  I have called 4 times since October 8 - two of those times talking to Mr. Chambers and the additional 2 times talking to a woman in the office.  I unfortunately did not catch her name.   The last time I called I realized that I was never going to get a response and that Mr. Chambers was never going to come back out to the property and honor the 10 year warranty on this contract.  He did state when I spoke with him that he was surprised that he listed a 10 year transferable warranty on the contract.  According to him, it was hard to provide a warranty with the foundations in Texas.
