replacement windows
 + -1 moreI am very happy with the screens. I have not had them long enough to see what effect they will have on my electric bill yet, but I have noticed a big improvement in my master bathroom, the room that has an unshaded west-facing window. That room would get very hot in the afternoon and that heat would seep into my bedroom. I have noticed that it is much more comfortable in there now. The screens do not make my rooms dark on a bright sunny day, the interior light is what you would have on a cloudy day. My next-door neighbors were so impressed with the look that they came over and asked who had done it, I gave them Ken's card (which is why I can't now remember his last name; sorry). I had first gotten Ken's number from some friends of mine who had him install their solar screens about 8 years ago in Rockwall. They were very happy with their screens. After all that time, they still look good and have not stretched or gotten saggy.
Description of Work: I wanted to have solar screen installed on all my windows and the back door. Ken came to my house, and measured all my windows. He gave me an estimate for using 80% screens and 90% screens, and for adding decorative grid work that would match the grid work in the windows. I decided on 80% screening on most of the house, but 90% on the west facing window, and the decorative grid work on the front windows. Ken told me that it would take about 2 weeks for the screens to be made, and two weeks later he was back and installing all the screens.
