Precision Fencing & Construction

We're in love with the results. The fence is GORGEOUS. We had some rough patches (work wasn't started until almost 2 months after cedar was delivered, but there were some rainy days in there), but the pictures speak for themselves. In addition, when the planks started going up & they were facing the wrong side (we wanted the "pretty" part on the outside so kids couldn't climb it easily), I called & they took care of it, which was a decent amount of rework. We're absolutely in love with the results, and recommend their craftsmanship. The retaining wall was a very clever way to get us the highest 6' fence possible (permit restrictions). Very pleased.

Mitchell, Crystal and their team were incredibly responsive. After getting 6 bids from different companies I chose Precision based on their price and responsiveness. They were far and above the best in each category. Crystal immediately updated the proposal each time I asked for revisions and Mitchell was always prompt in returning my emails and calls. All materials were delivered the morning of day 1 and the job was finished in three days. The product was high quality and solid construction. I had no issue getting the job done on time and on budget. What they quoted me (it included taxes, fees & permits) was what I was charged; no unexpected fees or change orders. I even asked them to change out a few boards with imperfections which they attended to immediately at no extra charge. Pricing is always important, but I was willing to pay a little more for a crew that was dependable. I have a dog and young child and what I didn't want is to have a job linger for weeks and me not be able to track down the crew. I was pleased to find that I got both a great price and certainty of execution from Precision.

The work took a couple of days to complete. The workers were professional. There were two workers. They left the area very clean.

We are very pleased with the fence. We had to have them come back out and clean up discarded chain link bits in the yard after the fence was completed.

Everything was great. I enjoyed working with the staff designing the arbor for the back yard.Great job!

It didn't. They took the deposit and have not completed the work, nor have they contacted us for a start date. It has been almost a month.

Perfect. Precision is the right name for this company. On time, professional, confident. I am impressed with the quality of workmanship and the followup attention. I really recommend these guys!

We found Precision Fence on Angie's List.  Mitchell from Precision Fence and Construction was very prompt and professional when he came out to our house to give us a quote.  He reviewed the poorly constructed fence built by another fence company, and was able to suggest many options to fix our fence issues.
A few of the other companies I called from Angie's List quote five weeks to start the job.  Precision Fence was able to start within a week.
On construction day, Mitchell and Frank (our project manager) showed up to our house.  They reviewed the scope of the job completely with us to ensure our fence was built exactly as we requested.
The quality of the fence they built was one of the best I have seen, and they were able to tear down the old fence and completely rebuilt the new fence within a day!  Precision Fence is the right name for this company.  To top if all off, they did it at a fair price!

Overall did a fair job. Finished in one day as promised.  Had some issues that were mostly resolved after contacting  fence representative.  Work crew seemed to be in a hurry and fence resulted in being about 1 1/2 inch shorter than fence it connected to. I pointed this out but was told it was because my ground was not completely level.  Some of the fence posts were left with concrete filled to ground level when I was told concrete would be filled to about 2" below ground level and filled with dirt to not show concrete.

They returned our call within 24 hours. They scheduled a time to come out and perform an assessment. They arrived on time and were friendly, competent and professional.  As promised, they emailed us an estimate and a color chart for stain within 24 hours. Once we chose our stain, they told us it would take two weeks to get the fence stained, so they had to wait for that before they could install the fence. The day before they were due to deliver services, they called to let us know the company they contract to stain the wood is running behind and it would be another week. Since we were not in a hurry, we did not mind. A week later, they showed up early with plenty of workers. They took down the old fencing on the front and side of the house. We did not have all of the fence replaced, just the sections that can be seen from the street. The stain was the color we chose and the put a board across the top to give it a nice finished look. They cleaned up all the wood and debris when they were done. The foreman told us to call the office to make an appointment for their boss to come back out to approve the work and make sure we were satisfied.When we talked to the office staff, they said that we would pay the inspector. The inspector arrived on time and inspected the work. However, he told us we had to pay the office staff since he was not equipped to accept payment.  We called the office to see if we could pay by credit card over the phone and they said we would have to mail a check. So we did. 
Overall, they did a fantastic job. We got a lot of compliments from our neighbors who are also calling them for work. 
I only have two complaints: One- their was no clear process of who, when or how to pay. They need to communicate with each other so each person gives the same answer. (I was starting to wonder if we were going to get it for free....)
Two - Although the workers did clean up the debris from the job, I found some big gulp cups in the corner of my back yard. Since I have a dog, this is a concern for me since dogs will chew and eat everything. At least I found it before the dog.

It went really well.  My only complaint was the caps that they originally put on the fence were partially rusted.  I called them and they changed them out before permantly attaching them.

They were very good - would use them again. They did a great job

We were splitting the cost with one adjoining neighbor. This seemed to be a challenge for our very young sales rep. After contacting them early in the summer to get a bid it took until early fall before we could get the fence built due to poor communications with the company and neighbors. In the end we were very pleased with the job. I would recommend this company but be prepared to do the follow up calling yourself. Also be present while fence is being installed. We almost had a gate joining our back neighbors. They are ok but we did not want or ask for gate there. Love the final project and are considering another fence project using Precision.

Excellent workmanship and price. Lots of details making is a nice job like capping top, steel poles, 6 fit gaps, We are very please and cost was $1000 less than others.
