Master Painter

Did not sand down window sills and borders before started painting just started painting over previous coat of paint. When I mentioned/asked him about the sanding, he became angry and told me to put in on the check list of things to be completed at end of job and walked away from me. First sub-contractor that works for Master Painter informed me to be careful and to watch out he might walk off the job before project is complete and demand that job be paid in full. That sub contractor has not come back. Demanded that we do not speak with his sub-contractors.  Started painting a specific part and one of the contractors was speaking with my wife. Jacob verbally berated my wife for speaking with the sub-contractors. I had an appointment I had to go so I went while they were still doing the painting. I received a text message from my wife stating that all the painters had left. Left lights, full and empty paint cans. Contractors picked up all their equipment. We have paid $5000.00 in installments out of total of $6200 that was contracted. The remaining portion of this, according to the contract, was to be paid upon completion of project. He sent me a text message after my appointment demanding final payment. Attempted to call/text after receiving his message and go a message back saying we will be back to finish work once we are paid in full.

Workers was great - Oconer too talkative.

Everything went perfectly.  The walls were painted, drywall cracks sealed.  Everything looked like new again.  Have used Master Painter before and will again, if the need arises.

Jacob was a delight to work with.  One thing I will remember is that he insisted on providing references with phone numbers.  He provided photos of other jobs as well.  Jacob and his crew has lots of experience with all kinds of painting jobs. His crew came in and removed the popcorn from the ceiling of my entire home, re-textured it, then painted all of the interior rooms, including the trim and doors!  They came in and performed all of the work in 3.5 days. By comparison, I had other job estimates as long as 10 days.  They were very professional and got the job done.  Their pricing came in at mid-range, and was fair.  I wasn't necessarily looking for the lowest bidder, as I wanted experience and skill.  He also was not even close to being the highest bidder.  I am very satisfied with their work.

We were totally satisfied with the work. The cost was very reasonable as we had other quotes. The cleanup was very good as well. The crew was nice to work with. They were very professional.

As stated in the above paragraph, Master Painter did what we contracted with him to do and we were very pleased with his job.  What we especially liked was the Jacob Turner took us to see a newly completed job he had done.  That impressed us and we were sure we were making the right choice in hiring Master Painter.
