1. Requested bids for Bathroom Remodel, Joe (Creative Accents for the Home) being one 2. Joe said he could start the next day (had nothing going) 3. Joe was timely on getting bid, however, I was just starting process and told him so, even asked for a revised bid with licensed pros which he gave timely. 4. Once I accepted bid, called Joe 5/6 to confirm, and ask a number of questions and references. 5. Had to remind him of what I needed, finally got references. 6. In email, he said we could not start until 6/12 (on 5/7) and we should meet 5/27 or 5/28 to pick items out. 7. On 5/12, I asked what next steps were, as I was expecting a contract to be drafted based on my conversation of 5/6 8. Spoke to him on 5/28 and he said he THOUGHT 6/12 was ok, but his current job was "adding" things so wasn't sure...also said, "aren't we supposed to meet next week?" I let this slide (should not have) but agreed and said I'd confirm which date was best 9. Texted Joe on 5/29 indicating 6/4 was best date. He asked if I could meet in morning (knowing I work), I said no, had meetings, gave a 2 hour window and asked what dates he was available in afternoon since my date did not work for him. 10. Joe never returned my text 11. Left phone message 6/4 12. Left another text 6/5 13. Against better judgment called again 6/9, nothing 14. Has chosen not to respond to anything since 5/29 after asking if I could meet during a morning. Typical weasel like behavior...glad I found out BEFORE going thru w/work.
Description of Work: Joe does not communicate, unless he has nothing else to do.... I've wasted 5 weeks waiting for Joe to finish a job, where I could have located an honorable contractor and been scheduled appropriately with them during this whole time. Guess Joe is flush with money and does not need work during this economy.
