It was on sale. I would definitely use them again. Their prices are good, especially when you get something on sale. They are very eager to help you and don't try to pressure you into buying something you don't need. They came in and hooked everything up to make sure it worked. I didn't have any problems. They used some carpet to bring the washing machine in. They used the padding on the floors so they wouldn't get the carpet dirty. They tested out everything to make sure I didn't have any leaks and that I was satisfied with everything before they left.

We wanted to install wood plank flooring upstairs.  We went to Home Depot on Park in Plano, Texas.  A guy came out and measured the area, which was a master bedroom/bath/closet, loft, 2 bedrooms and 2 more closets.  We went in to order materials.  On several of our visits, the customer service person did not seem to know how to do his job, or about the options available.  One older gentleman, Dick, did seem knowledgeable.  We ordered materials, they were delivered to our house to acclimate to our humidity for a while.  On the installation day, another company was installing.  They arrived on time, and did a pull back of the carpet to see what was going on.  They found that the flooring was too warped to put any time of flooring on and have the warranty hold, except carpeting again.  They said the floor was not level and showed us the results.  We went them away.  Home Depot sent people to collect the flooring and gave us a refund.  
This was a hassle.  I wish there had been some way to look at the floor evenness without waiting for the installer, at an earlier stage, like when the measurer came out to do that.  The floor would cost too much to fill in to make level, and concrete couldn't be used because it was on the second floor.  Fortunately, there was no hassle in returning the materials, but we still don't have a new floor.   It took a while to get answers about our problems.

They were very nice, very polite and they were here when they said they’re going to be here. I’m just real happy with their service. Everything went real and there were no problems. 

The experience was great as they had what I wanted for the price I wanted. I think that Home Depot is a huge chain across the land but it is my preferred hardware store.

THE SALESMAN QUOTED US A PRICE OF $2.40 SQ FT FOR TILE INSTALL. I MADE SURE TO ASK SEVERAL TIMES, BECAUSE I THOUGHT THIS WAS VERY REASONABLE. I ALSO QUESTIONED THE PRICE OF THE TILE, BECAUSE IT WAS CHEAPER AT THE REGULAR HOME DEPOT. HE RELUCTANTLY GAVE ME THIS PRICE. WHEN WE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH THE INSTALL, HE SAID THAT THE INSTALL RATE WAS $3.50. WE WERE VERY UPSET SINCE HE DID NOT OFFER TO HONOR HIS ORIGINAL PRICE. SEVERAL HOURS AFTER WE LEFT, HE CALLED, AND BASICALLY SAID WE LEFT TOO SOON, BUT, HIS MANAGER SAID HE COULD HONOR THE QUOTED PRICE. WE DID GO AHEAD WITH THE INSTALL, THE WORKERS WERE VERY NICE, AND THEY WORKED VERY LATE INTO THE NIGHT. ALL THREE ROOMS WERE FINISHED IN THE SAME DAY. THEY DID HAVE TO RETURN A FEW DAYS LATER TO STAIN AN AREA OF GROUT BEHIND THE TOILET THAT THEY HAD NOT FINISHED.

IT WAS GREAT HAVING THEM COME OUT ON THE SAME DAY AS THE PURCHASE. WE DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT AND THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. THE INSTALLER WAS PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK.

I RECEIVED GOOD SERVICE FROM THE SALESPEOPLE.
