An agent came to my house. She determined the router needed replacing. She did that, as well as a "device diagnostic." Everything worked fine until the agent left, then things went to he-double hockey sticks. First, the laptop stopped working. It asked for a restart and got into an infinite loop. This is not to suggest the agent did anything wrong but rather, I'm just relaying what happened. So I call the agent. The agent says the issue sounds like a hard drive crash. Okay. So I call 1-800 Geeksquad. I mention their 30-day warranty. The agent on the other end of the line says the problem with my laptop's hard drive is unrelated to the original service call. So much for backing your work! Fair enough, I order a new laptop; not from Best Buy but from Amazon. I wasn't going to reward Best Buy, thank you very much! Then I start having printer problems. It won't print. I try to troubleshoot it using my desktop computer. The diagnosis says the printer is not turned on when in fact it is on and connected to the WiFi! So I call the agent who did the original service call. She had me check to make sure the printer wasn't offline. It was not. I then call 1-800-Geeksquad. Once again, they tell me the printer problem is unrelated to the original service call and therefore, not warranted. The agent advises me to reload the printer drivers. The phone call concludes. I reload the printer drivers on my own. That seems to fix the problem. Only time will tell. To summarize, Geek Squad does not back its work. I took the $99 "device diagnostic" to be a check of the entire system. It is not. The agent who made the original house call did a pretty good job. I'm disappointed with the 1-800 number. Not worth the money overall.

They were reliable and fast. I like them because they are dependable and honest. The price is a little high, but I think that it is worth it because you are working with a reputable company that really knows their stuff. I would recommend them to anyone. The service is good and it is worth the price.

I called Best Buy and described the problem I was having. The associate was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and give me an estimate for the upgrade. I brought the computer in and the work was completed in 15 minutes. I would will use them again if I have computer problems.

THE PRICES WERE GREAT. THEY ALSO MATCHED A PRICE ON AN AD WE BROUGHT IN FROM A COMPETITOR OF BEST BUY ON THE DVD PLAYER. THE PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO HELP.

THE SALES PERSON WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND INFORMATIVE. WAS VERY PATIENT AS QUESTIONS WAS ASKED. WE PROCESSED THE PAPERWORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. I PICKED THE STOVE UP A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER AND IT WAS READY AT THE AGREED UPON TIME. THEY EVEN ASSISTED IN LOADING IT ON TO OUR TRUCK.

THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THEY ALSO, WORKED OUT THE BEST DEAL POSSIBLE.

SALES PERSON WAS VERY POLITE. TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN ALL THE FEATURES OF THE COMPUTER.

SERVICEMAN WAS VERY HELPFUL TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEM. HE MADE RECOMMENDATIONS AS TO FUTURE REPAIRS AND ESTIMATES.

LAPTOP HAD TO BE SENT OUT FOR REPAIR, BUT WAS REPAIRED AND RETURNED WITHIN DAYS.
