Flash Garage Door Service

Not a good experience when they just finished half of their job. The technician came to estimate and promised us to replace the damaged panels, matched them to the existing ones. However, after I paid in full, he only replaced but not finished the job to pain them. Called the company but they refused to keep their words. Now I need to hire someone to do it.

I only used this company because they contracted with my home warranty service. There service was not just bad, it was dangerous. Their work was guaranteed for 30 days after installing a new garage door opener. Only after 45 days did the bolt the installer used to hold the garage door to the lifting chain come undone and the door crashed to the ground damaging the door significantly. Had one of my pets or grandkids been under the door they would have been killed. As you can see in the picture I've included, there are three bolts in the arm that attaches the door to the chain that pulls the door open. Two of those bolts, the one on top and the one near the door have the cotter pins that should be installed. However, the guy must have lost the third bolt because he put in a normal bolt and nut, and since the nut couldn't be tight or the arm wouldn't pivot as it goes up, after about 30 or so trips up and down, bing, it fell out and the door came crashing down. What you see in the picture is the bolt I put in, with appropriate cotter pin. The final straw is that when I called them to tell them they had installed the door improperly, they said they would be more than happy to come out and look at for $89. I declined. My American Home Shield warranty wouldn't do anything since it was past the 30 days. REALLY bad service all the way around, but this company's install was the worst - it was potently deadly. Update 10/4/2023 his is a follow up review. I already detailed my experiences with this company in my one star rating, but I want to be sure and point out all the fake five star ratings. One of two sentences, four or five posted on the very same day. Come on. This is the sign of a really bad company when they have to depend on fake reviews to help them cover up all the bad review. Therefore, I'll add this other one star to the mix. It ain't fake.

Came out really fast and was very fair on the price that i have had in past for same repair. Repair it and now my door has never sounded so good. The tech was great and had a very clean truck with company logo on it.

Awesome service. Very affordable prices. JB was very patient. Very thorough. I admire the way that he contacted his boss and his boss was Available for his employee at a drop of a dime. Great teamwork. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Good people are just hard to find.

They had to come out 3 times to fix the problem. Were unable to fix the problem correctly the first and had to send a different technician the third to fix the problem. Claimed to have fixed the problem the first 2 times but the garage door stopped working within a few days. Charged extra the second time to fix the problem. The first technician did not know where the issue was and tried changing different parts however nothing really fixed the problem. Very frustrating.
