If you can’t explain something to someone who knows nothing about the subject, you haven’t truly mastered the subject.” Eddie Nichols and 5th Gen Electric Company have mastered the art of being electricians in a way that is very impressive. Eddie, the expert electrician and owner, is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He is a great communicator. He was able to simplify complex electrical concepts, explaining what was absolutely necessary versus nice-to-haves in our home, along with all the various electric code requirements. His ability to break things down made us feel confident and informed about the work being done. The company itself reflects Eddie’s expertise and dedication. They installed 2 ceiling fans (rear porch and garage) and replaced ceiling fixtures in the bath. They arrived early and were very professional; did a great job! First time to use them since I moved to the Forney area, but will definitely call them again. Very knowledgeable and friendly guys; the owner and another licensed electrician came to my home.

The electrician was able to come quickly (same day) and was great. He let us know that they outlet did not need to be fixed. He still had to charge us for the trip, but was kind enough to give us a discount.

We couldn't be happier with 5th Gen's service and their tech, Josh. Honest, professional, and fair pricing. You can't ask much more from an electrician. Check to see if your home has a surge protector built in. If not, you should call 5th Gen Electric to have one installed. Tell the owner, Eddie, that I sent you.
