I was able to email Tony a layout of what I was thinking of doing and he helped me choose an appropriate option.

Called them. They arrived when they said they would. Did the repair. I received a bill within 3 days and paid it.

However, on his departure noticed connections to the tank on both were not tight, result was leaking. Simple tightening did the job. Sloppy, however on his part. Note: Man has apparently relocated and no longer serving the area.

I understood he left the Island a year or two ago.

Great job, high attention to detail, very professional execution. Never felt worried about quality or shortcuts. Explained everything each step of the way. Was able to transact whole project remotely. Very satisfied. Added value to the property.

I called Big Island Plumbing (based on an ad in the newspaper) Monday morning. Mark picked up right away and told me he could be here between 10 am-12 pm and would call when he was on his way - based on my description of the leak he said it was likely a plugged drain. As promised he called at 1020 am and arrived at 1045 am. He immediately set to work with no supervision and provided me regular updates while I went about my business at home. He quoted the job estimate beforehand and told me how long it would take to complete (about an hour plus time to get a replacement cap for the drain - apparently without the cap the overfill drain empties directly into your drywall - make sure if you have a new house you have a cap on your drain so if your sing is clogged it forces the water up into the sink rather than into your drywall). As scheduled Mark removed the clog, ran to the hardware store, returned with a $2 cap in hand, and completed the job. His detailed explanations, promptness, and willingness to answer my questions would encourage me to use him again.
