Watertight Pool & Spa

have been waiting for almost a week for service. technician called to cancel. company never called me to reschedule. finally I got a hold of someone who stated that it was not her assignment but she would schedule. Still have not heard back from them. American Home shield cannot get a hold of them either. Never do business with a company that only uses email or 800 number

Do not use this company!! Our pool heater caught fire and burned our fence. The technician (Tyler) came out and said that's what happened and said he needed approval to replace. I then get a call from our home warranty company stating that the technician said that there was secondary chemical damage that caused the problem. That is a total lie!! Now, no one at this company will call me back. I should have looked at the other reviews before using this dishonest company. Believe the bad reviews. I am sure any good ones are from company employees. Be sure check out the Better Business Bureau reviews (hint, they are horrible)

Watertight pools and spa was contracted and sent out by our home warranty company. It took this company 14 days to replace a control on my spa. Communication is absolutely horrible with this company. They would send me emails stating they would be at my home to make a repair and at the end of the business day I would receive an email stating they didn't have time to make it out. They rescheduled my appointments several times giving me absolutely no notice. When I informed them that I was a part of Angie's list their scheduled opened up and the repair man came out within one hour.(go figure)

 

When he informed me he was done with the repair, I noticed the control box was not secure to the spa. I literally picked it up and it had exposed wires, and I could see inside the spa. When I asked why it wasn't secure like the previous one was, he simply stated "oh the wires can get wet, its not a big deal"  I told him that it didn't look safe and I requested that it be secured, he got out a tube of silicone and did a horrible job in securing it.

 

I will have to get someone else out to fix this shotty job done by this company. 

 

I am all for helping small businesses out and giving them my hard earned money, but I cringe when I am provided with horrible service and a job that is messy and unsafe. 

They worked with me on the phone - then in person several times.
They were very professional.

The catch for the B really is against American Home Shield.
If you have ANY ISSUE, call into the Watertight people and ask all your questions.
I was only angry at one point, and all the fault fell to AHS - and the way they wrote the contract.

They were spectacular.  I contacted them via e-mail and got a nearly immediate call back.  I spoke with Stephanie who was professional and friendly.  She explained that their schedule was backed up on service calls due to torrential rains, but Watertight still had my pool equipment fixed within three days, before the long (Memorial Day) weekend.  Rusty, the tech, showed up exactly when he said he would.  He had our pool wiring issues repaired within an hour.  This company kicks @$$.  The service was beyond my expectations.

WOW  what great service, what honesty.     Installed the pool heater within a week.   Would call anytime!   

Our pool motor appeared to be leaking. We contacted our home warranty company who assigned Watertight Pool & Spa company to diagnose and fix this issue. The technician came by and diagnosed it and said it needed the housing and seal to be replaced. He came by a couple of hours later with the parts and fixed it. All went well except I felt the company could have been a bit quicker in its responsiveness: they did not confirm a specific time/date but instead put me on a waitlist (because of holiday weekend etc.), and I had to call a couple of times to get things moving.

We were in the process of performing a Spring deep-cleaning on our pool and had called out another company that we'd located on Angie's List (not Watertight Pool and Spa) to replace the bulb in our pool light while the pool was empty and to perform a routine diagnostic on our equipment. That repairman informed us that the pool light was not burned out but instead was malfunctioning at the electrical box. He also told us that our filter grids, which we had taken apart to clean ourselves, needed to be replaced. As both of these repairs are covered under our American Home Shield warranty, I filed a claim.
I received an email from American Home Shield on the morning of Friday, May 16th, indicating that my pool service claim had been assigned to Watertight Pool and Spa. I received a phone call from Watertight that afternoon around 4pm. I spoke to a woman on the phone and explained to her that we were in the midst of having our pool deep-cleaned and possibly re-surfaced and that we needed to have the pool light and the filter grids looked at. She indicated that they would not be able to diagnose anything while the pool was empty and that we should call her back to schedule the service once we had refilled the pool. I assured her that I would definitely call back. The surface repairs took longer than anticipated, so I didn't call her back until today, June 5th (just short of three weeks later) only to learn that they closed out or cancelled our claim with American Home Shield. As I was very clear that I would definitely be calling them back, I'm not sure why they rushed to close out the claim, especially without giving me the benefit of a phone call to see where we were at with our resurfacing project. I now have to file a new claim and begin the process all over again. Very unprofessional, and very disappointing.

The tech was friendly and informative about the work he was doing. He fixed the leak and assessed our equipment.
