We contracted VTB services to remodel our kitchen. We had several very similar bids but decided to go with Ken because he seemed to be more in line with what we wanted. The work began quickly when they said and was very efficient. His crews were all very professional and personable. We gutted the kitchen so every thing is new and the quality of the work surpassed our expectations. We had our custom made cabinets painted and as the paint dried we noticed a few spot that chipped or collected dust in drying. Ken sent the crew back out 2 times to fix these issues to make sure the job was done right. We also had a cabinet door problem that I was willing to overlook as it was not major considering these were custom cabinets but Luis and Ken insisted the gap on the door be fixed. They had the cabinet guy come back to fix that ad well. Overall we are very satisfied with the work and service from VTB.

At first the floors looked great the did a good job. I called them back a year later because I have a lot of cracks where the seams are. Louis the owner came out said the he would fix it but the I should have the foundation looked at first. The foundation company and engineer looked at foundation said there is not problem that it was normal settling and to have the cosmetic things repaired! I called VTB Service to back out. I also told them I was interested in hiring them again to redo my bathroom flooring with tile or wood so I would like a quote on that project. Ken Heyman came out, gave me a fair bid $500 to tile the bathroom and said they would repair the cracks on the hardwood at the same time.   I scheduled VTB Services to come out on Thursday April 17, 2014 to repair the cracked hardwood floors and tile BUT they failed to show! I contacted them and rescheduled for Monday April 21, 2014, and they non-showed again and are NOW REFUSING to come out at all and repair the cracks. I spoke to Ken Heyman at VTB Services Tuesday April 22, 2014 and he told me that repairing the cracks on the hardwood is not covered on the warranty because he thinks the one year period has passed--when it has not!  We gave you notice of the faulty work during our phone conversation in February 2014 and with the photos sent on February 10, 2014, which is within the one year time frame in my contract. So now they refuses to come out at all. Ken was very rude on our last conversation telling that my job was too small to care about. Even though I had already had paid them 2232.50$ for them doing to whole house and they are not honoring the warranty.
I also found out later that the bid $500 to do the re-tile the bathroom did not include the hardiboard so he did not bid the job right!

First contact: was by e-mail to arrange a time for VTB to come out and quote a few projects.  They showed up over an hour late but did call to alert us of the delay.  First quote was obscenely high for everything but the tile work, which is supposed to be their area of expertise.  We wound up contracting for the labor to install the tile after the original tile installer we selected was going to be delayed beyond the timeframe we needed.  Ken (the sales guy?) was able to round up an installer quickly but that's when things went downhill.  First, Ken comes out the morning of the install and tells me they'll smooth the floor to take into account the remaining thinset the previous installer left behind during demo.  He said very clearly that they would smooth, level and prep the floor for tile at a cost of another $180.  I agreed to the additional charge but it turns out all they did was add some additional thinset where needed to level the tiles.  This is not at all the same thing as actually leveling the surface underneath the tile but I let it go as there wasn't much we could do once they were halfway though the install.  They also didn't bother to remove the remaining vinyl flooring adhesive that was left behind in the smaller bathrooms so I'm concerned about the long-term adhesion of the tile.  That same first day Ken also said they would be sealing the grout.
The final install of the tile looks pretty good in terms of uniformity of grout lines and levelness of the tile.  My foot only catches a couple of edges and the cuts were well done.  My wife went by at the end of the install to see the tile and, unfortunately, she cut the check for the work before I got there to see it and ensure they followed through on everything.  What we've been left with is a good tile install on the surface but the grout was never sealed and there is grout haze and other residue left behind that we have been forced to deal with.  Don't pay unless you are 100% certain that everything that was supposed to be done has been done.  Ken refuses to return any texts, e-mails or voicemails.  Be forewarned that Ken also likes to make comments that no service provider should make.  Things like "you know this tile doesn't go with these countertops, right?" (did we ask for your opinion?) and "we had to lay the tile on a brick pattern because of the cheap tile your husband chose" (although we requested the brick pattern up front).   A few other comments are slipping my mind, but he needs to work on the mental filter that most service providers know how to use.

All very good and pretty quick. Luis contracts the different bits of work to his crews that specialize in tile, painting, granite, or carpentry. We communicated via phone and text. He is very responsive, and the job went pretty smoothly. He and his painter accompanies us to the paint store to figure out paint match for the wall needing paint re-do because of the new hood. All prep work and cleanup was good.   We were really impressed with the new hood the carpenter built from scratch and with the tile work and painting/staining.  Only caution is that his plumber/electrician who did some installation work didn't seem to be as top-notch as the other fellows. He seemed to be figuring things out as he went and made several errors along the way; however, he did fix any problems that arose.

Installation went very well.  His team was professional and on time for all visits.  His contractors had to come back to the house multiple times as a result of the iterative nature of installing hardwood floors.  Luis' team was professional and very courteous to my family when we had to be at the house.  The product looks great.

The service was very good overall! They showed up on time and did an excellent job. We received a lot of estimates for this work, and their price was in the middle. Their craftsmanship is excellent and we’re happy with the work.

They showed up and began work immediately. Removing the old flooring was difficult as it was 30 year old parquet and splintered but they got the job done and ground the concrete subfloor smooth. We ended up having them remove the wainscoting to get the tile under the drywall. They made a niche in the tub/shower surround and framed the window in marble tile. They were very concerned about the appearance more so than how much additional labor would be involved! They worked very hard and got the job done in 3 days.
