Description of Work: Arron, the owner came to my home, driving a long distance, and spent about 5 hours with the entire family. He trained us on how to train my fog that I adopted while I was in Iraq. He was suffering from PTSD, and Arron explained my dogs behavior and reasons behind that behavior so we would better understand how to deal with him in the future. Arron educated all of us together. Not just my dog. We all worked together in the home, worked on barking at the door bell, chasing the cat and many other issues. We even went on walks through the neighborhood where he taught us how important daily walks were and how he should be walked. I'll have to say that my dogs behavior has improved substantially and more important me and my family have been educated on how to properly correct future bad behavior. This is all done without yelling, jerking or being physical with the dog. Once Arron explained how dogs think and process information correcting poor behavior became much easier. Arron even left is with a guide that helps us think through the correction process for certain behaviors and it also acts as good reference material if you forget how to do something. Now my dog from Iraq is a much better behaved dog and I can take him almost anywhere without worries.

 + -1 moreAaron was professional and courteous and did an wonderful job demonstrating how to modify and correct inappropriate dog behavior. I will most likely schedule a follow up session for fine tuning. Overall an excellent experience!

Description of Work: We scheduled a three hour training course with Aaron, us, and our three German Shepherds. Aaron went through education verbally as well as physically going through training techniques physically.

 + -1 moreWe adopted a rescue puppy in February, and our older dog and the puppy immediately started to have issues with fighting and dominance situations. We had tried several techniques ourselves, but knew that the fastest way to get results would be to have someone show us the things we were doing wrong. I did some research online, and found The Educated Dog. It took awhile to get together due to scheduling, but it was worth it. Aaron showed up at the agreed time, and went through a very thorough session with us, looking at all aspects of our behavior and interaction with the dogs, and the dogs interaction with each other and us. He had us practice several problem scenarios and walk through situations. We went on a walk with both our dogs, and went over easy ways to control and handle the dogs in various situations. It is amazing the difference in the dogs now. Aaron is very busy, but he was kind enough to drive all the way to west Fort Worth from McKinney to work with us, and we couldn't be happier with the changes he helped us make.Our dogs and our family are much happier having worked with Aaron.

 + -1 moreWe set the date about 3 weeks in the future. Approximately 2 days before the "big day," Aaron called and explained that he couldn't keep his appointment with us. I understood that sometimes things happen, and we rescheduled for another 3 weeks or so in the future. On the second "big day" I received a voice mail message from him canceling the appointment again, saying he had laryngitis. I did not receive another call from him to reschedule or even touch base. Eventually I called and left a new message explaining that our dog had become even more aggressive now that our daughter had begun walking. I asked him to recommend someone to help us if he couldn't fit us into his schedule. To this day I have not received a call or message from him.
Description of Work: I called and left a message explaining that we had a new child and wanted training for our 7 year-old border collie. Aaron, the owner called me back; we spoke for about 30 minutes, discussing the situation and finding a day that would work for both of our schedules. (I can't remember the exact fee he quoted me, but I was thrilled that he would be working with our dog in our own home).

 + 1 moreChesapeake Kitchen and Design did a wonderful job. They did a great job getting my work done. We had a couple of times when they were late but they still were able to give me quality work in a reasonable amount of time. We had a few minor problems that they promptly came back and took care of.
Description of Work: Chesapeake Kitchen and Design gutted and redesigned the kitchen adding new granite countertops and tile back splash. In the master bathroom they put in a new marble shower and replaced the old floor with tile in my powder room.

 + -1 moreHe is actually on TV here. His name is Aaron Stewart and he is just awesome. He used to perform scent dog training for bomb detections but now he trains dogs with behavior problems. He comes to your home for about three hours and basically tells you what you have done wrong with your dog. In a polite way he does this. He is phenomenal. Description of Work: I had Educated Dog come to my home and train my little Chihuahua.
