Mr. Smith is the most thorough instpector I have ever used when purchasing a home. He contacted me to let me know he was running a few minutes late so I would not have to be there waiting for him. He was very professional and I felt that, after the inspection, any problems with the house had been found and documented. He spent approximately six hours inspecting a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home. He gave me many excellent suggestions on how to correct existing problems and prevent new ones. He answered every question I asked him with great explanations so that I would understand exactly what was needed. After he had inspected the house, he then went back and checked everything a second time to make sure he had not missed something. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is thorough, professional, licensed by the TREC, and does a fantastic job. I can take the inspection report and give it to a contractor to get estimates for exactly what needs to be done to fix the problems with the house. I would use him any time I needed a home inspection in the future.
Description of Work: Mr. South inspected a home I am purchasing. He inspected the electric system (plugs, appliances, fixtures), plumbing system (kitchen, bath, laundry, outdoor), HVAC, interior and exterior wood and paint, attic, roof, and basic foundation. He took numerous digital photos of problem areas and included them in his very detailed report. He covered the entire inspection with me before he left and emailed me a copy by 8:30 the next morning.
