"We visited the customer, took measurements, and provided our free quote, with terms of "50% deposit required to place an order". She called the next day to place an order with the required 50% deposit via American Express through paypal. One week after the credit card numbers were given to us by the customer, American Express contacted us and advised us that the purchase was a fraudulent purchase by the customer, and asked that we credit AMEX the money back. We contacted the customer to inquire, and she advised us that the cancellation by American Express was due to a complicated issue with her ex-husband and credit card accounts. We requested that if another deposit was placed, it would need to be made in cash, but we never received a deposit. As we require a 50% deposit, and she never provided the deposit again, we advised her that there was no order in her name - production was stopped until she paid the required deposit. No re-stocking fee, or bank fees were charged to the customer -- we assumed the cost. (Formal paper work available upon request from American Express and Paypal)."
