Karl was very thorough and tactfully made several suggestions. He went above and beyond our original work order. He was very helpful when my dog got out of the yard and helped secure my fence. He didnâ t waste material and left the job very clean.

ShellBack responded to me immediately. I had my daughter's room painted, and it looks great!

Karl and Shellback walked off our complete home flip / remodel project in the middle of the job. This is following 2 months of little to no work being done onsite after an initial solid two months of progress to demo, despite being paid in full for all work to date. They admitted to not working onsite when they were supposed to due to a variety of reasons and promised, in writing, to pick it up, working weekends and OT as needed to catch up. They had not provided progress updates as requested so I pushed for those weekly and they did not hold up that end of the deal either and had excuses. Then about 2 weeks later they walked off the job, but only after spending one day onsite 'texturing' the entire two story home walls and ceilings and painting. Orange peel was the contracted style and Karl decided to go with splatter instead, without discussion or approval. The texturing was so shoddy that it literally crumbled and fell off the walls throughout the house when touched - and not scrubbed or pressed hard but minimal touch and it just fell off exposing the sheet rock beneath it. Splatter was incredibly inconsistent as well with some areas of very heavy while right next to it there were areas of little to no texture at all. All windows had just been replaced in the house. They did not bother to simply tape them off and sprayed them with overspray texture as well causing a tremendous mess. Same with the hard wood flooring. No care whatsoever was taken to cover them with paint and texture splattering all over the floors. We will be seeing them in court, but I highly recommend you do not use this company. We had even previously declined their offers or discounts due to their delays and non-delivery on promises. We would have gladly worked out additional timing for them to complete this job, but instead they have zero notice and left. Unethical at best. Unprofessional and terrible workmanship on top. Perhaps they are capable of small handyman work, but they took on an entire home remodel and said it was well within their wheelhouse. Lesson learned the hard way.

I rated this company high because he was very professional, punctual and polite. However, the cost was too high for the work performed. We discussed this, and he seemed open to my opinion, but did not alter his charges.

I had Karl do multiple projects in my home and he went right to work and he was thorough and competent. He asked me several times along the way for my opinion to assure that all was being done to my expectations. He was personable and very professional.
