I highly recommend Preview Construction. Very professional. Everything is done with a spirit of excellence. So much so that people have stopped to take pictures of the house. The replacement of my siding with Hardie board is one of the best remodeling decisions I have made.

Excellent service. It was on and off again scheduling around the rain, but the siding was installed and painted without any problems.

Very prompt contact with me after purchasing the deal and quickly scheduled an appointment to see scope of the job and determine date of service.  I got quotes for staged replacement of siding on entire house, but for this service I only had the rotten siding on the chimney replaced.

The removal and replacement of the siding occurred in one day as promised.  The siding was also primed in preparation for the final color matched painting the next day.  The painters were there the next day as promised.  All seams were professionally caulked and the painting was done without any over spray on roof, brick, shrubs, grass, etc.

Am definitely having them back to continue the staged replacement of the remainder of the siding on my house as the budget allows.

The first day they showed up on time and I was impressed.  The siding went fairly smoothly but after that people didn't show up when we were told they would, they kept asking us what they were supposed to be doing and there was no supervision.  After the siding was done, it appeared that for the most part everyone else was a subcontractor.  It took much longer to complete the work than the original estimate and we never knew if anyone was going to show up from day to day.  One of the items that was fixed was a ceiling that had water damage from a leak.  Once they were finished and we began painting the ceiling, the sheetrock could be lifted with a paintbrush.  There were other issues like their subcontractor couldn't figure out how to install the crown molding on the cabinets we bought.  There was an issue with the two sets of doors we purchased and paid a lot of money for letting air and noise in.  The subcontractor who installed the door said there was nothing wrong although he would tell us he would order a part and then tell Preview there was nothing wrong.  I gave up on getting this issue resolved.  Also once we made the final payment, getting a response from Preview was very difficult.  I have two bathrooms to be remodeled and a patio to install but I will not be having Preview do any of the work.  If you only want siding done then you are probably safe but don't have them do anything else unless you want to spend your time supervising the subcontractors.

We started discussing the job with Tami Delmark, Project MAnager, in the spring and she was very patient in helping us decide how best to proceed with the co-ordination of having siding and windows/doors replaced together. We have lived in this home since 1980 so the windows were not up to todays energy standards. In the end we decided to replace them all. Our cedar siding needed extensive work and since we have a contemporaryy design there was a lot of siding to consider. We chose to go with Hardie Board rather than wood and could not be happier. It is the only way to go if you can afford the upgrade.The team statrted on time and completed every phase of the project in a professional manner. We had asked for Previews best team and were asssigned Chuy and his brother who did all the siding work and Rick who was the job foreman. To say that we wer eimpressed by their work would be an understatement. We had several complications and a very challenging home to re-side and they met each challenge as they arose and left behind a project that is a work of art. Their painter Gustavo is also as good they come and he finished the project with a complete exterior paint job that was superbly done. All in all, high accolades to the entire team from Preview.

Very pleased from start to finish. We spent quite a bit of time planning the job, Tammi, the project manager was knowlegable and had good ideas. Crew that installed siding was execellent, solving several unexpected problems as they were discovered. Painters were very thorough, lots of prep and careful painting- no overspray. Communications were good throughout the job, changes and and questions were handled efficiently and reasonably. Good value for the price.

I was extremely pleased with the project manager Jason. He was timely and communicated with me frequently. He also "managed" the team of individuals that worked on our home.

Estimator/service coordinator (TAMMY) came for the estimate and was friendly and knowledgeable about what we wanted, the product, and how the process would go. The estimate took a couple of days but was thorough. Work was delayed due to weather by a couple of days and then by a snafu with the materials being delivered by the lumberyard. We were kept informed every step of the way, and the delay was only a couple of days. The work progressed rapidly with good cleanup of removed materials. The siding was installed with good tight fits and attention to detail. The painters did an awesome job of matching colors for the siding and repainting our front door. The painters also painted our new garage door to match with no flaws found. The company was easy to work with and patient with small last minute changes. The company and their painters where more than happy to come back out and paint the gutters to match after they were installed (initially we thought we could match the color on the house with the gutter but the color wasn't close enough); the estimate and the additional painting only took about 2-3 days to complete. The whole process was completed without much disruption to our schedules at all. The workers frequently asked questions about how we wanted something handled such as recessed v. externally mounted electrical boxes (were originally externally mounted on the house). In the end, the cost was $1,000 more than the estimate mainly due to our requested additions or changes. The added work costs were very reasonable for what we asked.
