I have a bad experience with Precision Windows. The technician that installed the windows messed up my blinds. I cannot imagine that he did not lift up the blinds before installing the windows. I have to replace all 3 blinds which cost me extra. How can they hired someone with no common sense. I asked for some discount and they only willing to take $10 off. I will definitely not using Precision Windows for my future needs.

Yet another horrible service job from Precision Windows. I wish I would've read bad reviews beforehand. They "fixed" our broken window from our lawn man by replacing it. But ever since then our window has LEAKED from the rain outside causing our carpet to SOIL in any rainstorm. We notified them as we are normally pretty patient with service men but unfortunately they only sloppily put caulk on the window instead of fixing the problem... thanks, I could've done that. After, they would no longer respond to any of our emails for help which is similar to some of their other customers. Usually love to use small businesses and recommend them to others in the area, however I will NOT be recommending this service to anyone.

There are far better options than to do business with these people. I have been doing business with the firm since 2005 and the service has degraded significantly in the past 12 months. They just don't do what the say they will do anymore. Defective products and don't stand by their warranty.

Our 22-year old house in Plano, TX had aluminum windows with badly fogged insulated glazing units (IGUs) - Precision Windows completed replacement of the glazing of 27 exterior windows in just two hours. My profession is Construction Management, and I'm also a Texas registered architect with 35-years of experience, so I know quality work when I see it. The workman were efficient, cleaned up after the installation was complete, and were able to get the work done 3-days earlier than originally quoted. The price was very competitive, and the 10-year warranty is a plus. My realtor recommended Precision Windows for this work - a recommendation that I am thankful that I followed up on.

We had a crack in a very large, very high arched window. This company was prompt and efficient. Would call again.

Everyone I worked with was very professional and attentive to my needs and concerns. The only problem I had is that they forgot to install the two screens when they replaced the windows and it took some time to get them to come back and do it. Some of that was my fault because we went on vacation the day after they replaced the windows, and after we got back they had a hard time finding where they had put the screens in the mean time. But they were very diligent in tracking them down and finally found them on the truck that came out to replace the windows.

The entire process went very well: appointment to measure; estimate; scheduling; work performed quickly and perfectly. We would definitely use them again!

I called them the day after Christmas and someone came by that same day for an estimate. I called three other firms and they wouldn't come until January. Barry was great with the quote and with being responsive to my questions. The guys that replaced the windows were fast and professional.

Awful. The first guy came out quickly, but told me that he did not have the proper tools to put the chain back on the sprocket. He also said I needed a new magnet. I told him the last guy had simply taped the magnet back into place with duct tape. He said that was not how they did it and it would need to be replaced. (he pocketed the old magnet) He returned a couple of weeks later with a new magnet. The cost for the magnet alone was $200. All it really needed was a new plastic housing. When he replaced the chain on the sprocket, all he used was a wrench and a screw driver (you draw your own conclusion)!!! He oiled and tightened the chain and ran it back and forth a couple of times. He said it was fine and said the work was guaranteed. Within three days it had jumped the track again. I called them and from then on all I got was a runaround. The repair guy was out of the office, etc. It took me from late December to March to finally talk to some one. He told me he had tried to call me several times. I had received no voice messages over this entire time (once again you draw your own conclusion). He said he could come out on Tuesday, and I said as long as it would be after 4:30 as that was the soonest I could get home and I did not want him to open the gate as I had a dog in the backyard and did not want her to get out. When I arrived home, it was clear he had already been there. Luckily, my dog was still in the backyard. And the second magnet was nowhere to be found (for the last time, you draw your own conclusion). I called the office and he told me that a part on the circuit board was bad. They could either replace the part or the entire unit. I asked what each would cost and he said he would have to get the information and get back to me. I told him that my phone was off while I was teaching, but leave a voice message with the two prices and I would get back to him. That was the last I ever heard from this dreadful company. I am now examining my legal options.

The whole process with estimate and schedule and all the other communication was outstanding, hope other service providers will adopt this kind of service and responsiveness. Work executed perfect with professionalism, the entire experience was very positive, the entire company is working like well tuned swiss clock.

It went perfectly. They were very careful, cleaned up after themselves, and the new windows look great! They did not try to convince me to do more windows than I felt was necessary and even said some windows were that bad yet to replace.

Perfect - John came out to do the estimate and indicated it would be 2 wks to fabricate, 2 wks later they called to schedule the installation, showed up at the appointed time and successfully installed the glass. Everyone matches perfectly (had internal cross bars).

They sent someone out for an estimate the day after I called. He gave me a good price, and said it would be about 3 weeks to get the glass ready. About 3 weeks later, I got a call that the glass was ready to be installed. We made an appointment and they showed up on time. 4 guys took less than an hour to replace all my glass on order. Everything went smoothly, there were no problems. I would use them again.

I was happy initially, but after approximately two months, one window broke after being knocked on by a single knuckle.  I've spoken to other glass companies who state this is not normal, yet the owner refuses to replace the window without charging me again.
