Mckinney Contractors

BEWARE if you use this business! The initial contact with McKinney Contractors was pleasant. However, it was obvious watching them repair and replace this section of our fence, they were struggling knowing how to complete the job. That should have been our first indication to watch them closely. Due to work restraints, we only were able to check on them a couple times during the job. Fence/Gate was completed, so I did give them a D on the completion of to repair. However that is when then issues began. We found only after calling a sprinkler repair business out that broke the sprinkler PVC pipe, electrical connection which was an additional cost of over $400.00. They even shut off the water main switch to the sprinkler system so we would not be aware of the damage. They ACKNOWLEDGED the damage was their fault, however it has been 4 months now of promises to make it right and reimbursement with no resolution. NOW they are not answering phone calls, letters or email to collect our money. McKinney Contractors if you read these reviews understand that want only to have our repair money reimbursed....even if it takes us going to small claims court. We are willing to do that, as you place yourself out there as a pastor and VET. Pastors and VETs I know do not do business this way!

They put lights all over the house nad yard for christmas but didnt know what they were doing they glued the lights to the paint and it took off the paint..they put too big of a breaker in our box and the extensioin cords melted pulling to many watts 15 wat cords on a 60 amp breaker. We are contesting the charge wtih our credit card company .. and not wanting to pay them They left bare wires on the roof with no tape or anything on them Live.. and the lights kept tripping breakers we had to hire someone to come out and complete the installation to be able to use them and part of the price was to take te lights down .Thye would not even come back and fix them where they were safe to use.. They gave us one price and kept raising it they didnt bid the job correct or something . They took 4 days for one house and didnt know what they were doing if we had not been home when the wires got hot and unplugged them the house could have burned down. THEY didnt come and remove the lights had to pay someone else to do that .. they were supposed to do all the rooff lines they ddint they were supposed to put the lights on timers and they didnt but we were supposed to pay for the timers and the lights.. and no timers to pay for .. They didnt leave ANY replacemennt bbulbs for us when several went out every day .. they just didint know what they were doing and when they stopped comming or calling back to our calls and promises to come out and meet us and never show and we sit home watiing it took 2 weeks before they stopped showing up and the lights were still not useable !! They kept throwing breakers.. IT was a very very bad and frustrating experience.. alot of time waisted to accomplish nothing
