Legacy Landscaping & Design

Charles did an excellent job of explaining the sprinkler bid and installation process. After it was installed, he came out to explain how to program the system. It has been easy to use with the app. I am happy that I chose Legacy and plan to call them again for future landscaping projects.

It didn’t go very well.  They couldn’t find the sprinkler station.  Another company came and was able to find station quickly.

Jesse spent a good deal,of time understanding our "to do" list and making recommendations. We have not yet hired anyone, but liked his approach.

I have used Jesse in the past, but it seems his business and reputation has tanked.  I was rather disappointed with him when he could not deliver the work as promised.  I paid him for the job and it never got finished nor did I get my money back.  He did not seem to have a competent crew and he is disorganized.  He does not seem to pay attention to detail or finish the work at hand.  I will not be using  him for any landscaping or lawn maintenance since neither seems to be good.  Sad to see how this has played out.

F = Failure to return emails
F = Failure to return phone calls
F = Failure to show up at scheduled date and time
F = Failure to call that they would not be able to make their scheduled appointment
F = Failure for office to provide a plausible reason for no show other than "he is running errands but I will have him call you"
F = Failure to realize that a customer sitting at home waiting for a contractor to never show up is not going to garner positive reviews
F = Failure to acknowledge request for a refund as a result of not providing any service

He did a great job.  My husband was here and he said he thought the guy did a good and professional job

The service technician brought his dog, which I thought was inappropriate.

When he set the timers on my controller he left it in the set position which caused me to miss Tuesdays of watering before I noticed it.  I haven't run the sprinklers since he was here, so I can only assume at this point the new sprinkler heads are working properly.

I paid additional for the sprinkler heads, of course.  The price was reasonable.

Everything went very well, Jesse did a great job and was very professional. Completed all the work in one day which is saying a lot when you live out like I do and cannot just run down to the store for parts. Which Jesse did need to do once because of the uniqueness of my system. Would highly recommend using them which I plan to do again in the coming weeks.

WOW was this a professional team.  Up and going just as agreed upon.  Price was about what I expected but the satisfaction of the job exceeded what I expected and I was glad I had spent a little more than I wanted.  Great advise and I would be happy to use them again. Thanks Jesse great job.

Jessie and his crew showed up and executed the job as expected.  He pricing was competitive and went up and beyond to make sure we were happy with the plants, flowers and final look.  Plant/flowers were healthy, vibrant and correct to spec as we wanted. There was a point where I planted an item that was incorrect from my wife's aspect and Jessie corrected it with out question or additional cost.
I have have used a few companies for maintenance and high end work. I have ended up firing them all due to price, life expectancy, wrong plants, and damaging existing plants. In addition these companies placed blame on me for various scenarios as if I am clueless and careless. When you have 20K+ in landscaping you take it upon yourself to become very educated with irrigation, plants, treatments and care.  So I have made sure I care for the environment correctly and follow instructions. If I am not sure about something I ask and research as anyone should do when they spend a large amount as I did.  
I had high expectations to meet for Jessie in addition timing and execution was critical. I can confidently say if you are looking for a design, have a small job or large job you won't go wrong with Legacy Landscaping. I will for sure be calling them again for future work.

Since my last interaction with Jessie his company, quality and professionalism has tanked.  I am revising my original review since I had so many issues with his service, quality and pricing the last few months  He basically took me for $1000 and never preformed the work.  Granted it was my fault for paying him up front, but with the previous work I thought I was in good hands.  I would stay away from his company since he has taken a turn for the worst.

All work completed within a reasonable time frame and to satisfaction. 

Brad and his team were simply great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, and his prices were the best of those we considered. We had a pretty well-developed plan already that we simply wanted his team to install. He followed our plans and wishes exactly, but also provided insightful suggestions where we were undecided. He took care of several unanticipated issues that arose in the course of his team's work. For example, while regrading the yard, they found a buried drain that we'd been searching for and installed a pop-up emitter, as well as found and repaired a leaking irrigation pipe. His team addressed these issues without any extra charge, except for the parts. His team also went the extra mile to make a few changes after the fact, such as moving one part of the stone border after it had been mortared down. All in all, we were VERY pleased with the end result.

Our backyard used to be a frustrating eyesore, with many areas that were consistently muddy due to poor drainage and grass that struggled to grow.
