Following a brief phone call to Heritage Hardwood Floors, Tony came by the next day to survey the job and gave me a very reasonable estimate, which I accepted. He then began searching for replacement wood flooring, and returned within just a couple of days with samples in hand. A seemingly close match was picked and special ordered from the manufacturer. It took about 2 weeks for the 2 small boxes of new material to arrive at my front door, and after another quick call to Tony an appointment was made for an installer to come over within a few days time to make the actual repair. Two men arrived exactly on time and set to work removing the decayed section followed by weaving the repair planks into place. Their close attention to detail resulted in a match even better than I had expected. Beyond the excellent outcome, everyone which I met from Heritage was friendly, interested, and quite good at their craft. This combined makes me glad to have engaged them for this project- and I would not hesitate to do so again should the opportunity come up. My thanks again to all!

Money was paid in full for 3 rooms of flooring.  He walked off the job saying, "I'm done!  Call another flooring co.  We had to pay others to finish the job, but now he is suing us for full amount of work he did not complete.

I worked with the sales person of Heritage Hardwood Floors and he was very helpful, took his time to explain every detail in the process.  He took his time and made multiple samples of what the floor was going to look like after being done. I went in to the store and also had an interaction with the owner who was also very helpful, very customer friendly and easy to work with. There is a 50% upfront charge for any supplies required which was explained in full detail. The remaining cost would be covered after an inspection and walk through of the project was done, and I signed off on it. I had no issues at all with the quality of work, the cleanliness of the work, and the detail and professionalism of the sales person I dealt with. It is a major undertaking to have a whole house redone as we did.  Most of the furniture we moved ourselves, but some of the bigger pieces were left to the workmen to move. No problems with that, they didn't even charge to do it. The work took 5 days, and we had to be away for the whole period as the dust and the fumes would be too much to bear.  The salesman warned us that up front and said we should be away. This wasn't expected by me but after going through the process I understand fully why they request that. When we came back the job was beautiful. The dust was at a very minimum as there was evidence they taped off most of the house to keep the dust infiltration to a minimum. The smell however lingered for a few days so you must be prepared for that.  It is pretty powerful and for anyone with asthma, or breathing difficulties it can be a rough few days. After about a week the smell of the finish dissipated and is hardly noticeable. I would recommend them, and will do business again with them without hesitation.

They had the lowest quote out of all the companies I got estimates from. They did not require me to pay everything up front. They had great communication and cleaned up well after themselves.

They did a wonderful job. They basically put in all the hardwood and refinished the hardwood in our kitchen to match. These were nailed-down hardwood, and so they came in and nailed them down, sanded them and finished the work on site. They also put in new floor molding. They installed over an area of 400 sq. ft. at $8 a sq. ft., which was an amazing price. They are a family-owned company. They are very professional, and on time, which is always a biggie for us. Five years after it was installed, the floor still looks fabulous. We are looking at installing hardwood throughout the rest of the house, particularly in the bedrooms, and they would be the one that I would go to.
