I worked with the sales person of Heritage Hardwood Floors and he was very helpful, took his time to explain every detail in the process. He took his time and made multiple samples of what the floor was going to look like after being done. I went in to the store and also had an interaction with the owner who was also very helpful, very customer friendly and easy to work with. There is a 50% upfront charge for any supplies required which was explained in full detail. The remaining cost would be covered after an inspection and walk through of the project was done, and I signed off on it. I had no issues at all with the quality of work, the cleanliness of the work, and the detail and professionalism of the sales person I dealt with. It is a major undertaking to have a whole house redone as we did. Most of the furniture we moved ourselves, but some of the bigger pieces were left to the workmen to move. No problems with that, they didn't even charge to do it. The work took 5 days, and we had to be away for the whole period as the dust and the fumes would be too much to bear. The salesman warned us that up front and said we should be away. This wasn't expected by me but after going through the process I understand fully why they request that. When we came back the job was beautiful. The dust was at a very minimum as there was evidence they taped off most of the house to keep the dust infiltration to a minimum. The smell however lingered for a few days so you must be prepared for that. It is pretty powerful and for anyone with asthma, or breathing difficulties it can be a rough few days. After about a week the smell of the finish dissipated and is hardly noticeable. I would recommend them, and will do business again with them without hesitation.
"The owners of Heritage Hardwood Floors would like to apologize to this customer. Our consultation policy is to offer a free in-home consultation for large jobs within our service area for the products we offer. During this consultation we offer advice about the flooring project they are contemplating, and examine the environment to try to spot potential issues or problems. We also measure so we can accurately provide an estimate for the project. In some cases we charge a nominal fee for this consultation, which can be applied in full to your project. This is generally for estimates for smaller jobs or repairs, estimates for insurance purposes, or estimates outside our service area. We strive to work with every customer in a professional manner, our project managers have been in the flooring business for years and are knowledgeable, and our crews are skilled craftsmen who are courteous and leave each workplace clean when the job is complete."
"Don't think this is our customer. We don't do work in California"
