At Footprints Floors, we're a step above the rest! We are a one-of-a-kind family owned and operated flooring installation and restoration business. We have spent the past decade mastering the installation and restoration of hardwood as well as the installation of laminate, vinyl, carpet, stone and tile floors, backsplashes, staircases and baseboards. From small repairs to large refinishing and installation projects, we pride ourselves on offering top quality workmanship at a fair price. We had around 6 quotes. Out of all the vendors Alan shot us straight from the beginning. He stated what he could and could not and what his thoughts were. He discussed our concerns and needs and was able to deliver. Very good experience. I would recommend this company again and we will use them again. He perfectly blended the new wood floors with our existing one.

Had a small dis-coloration on couple of wood planks and invited few floor companies, all of them said not to do the patch work by trying to replace the wood planks but Alan from Footprints said he can get this work done and quoted a reasonable estimate. Alan was polite and pleasant to communicate and hence rated customer service with 3 stars. I had 2 full box of the wood planks and Alan brought labors which I later came to know as sub-contractors. Per our plan we had to replace the section and just not the specific planks but they tried to replace the specific planks and eventually damaged the surrounding planks. They came 3 times to fix it but was unable to complete the work and exhausted the entire 2 full boxes. Alan asked me to get additional boxes and I could not find same wood since it was 12years old. Alan also tried but could not get it. Now the floor in living room is so awful. Alan then offered he will give discounted rate to replace the entire floor, now a few hundred $ work has been converted to several thousand project. I did not pursue with the offer since I was dissatisfied with the earlier work. I had several projects that was planned to remodel bath and kitchen but decided not to proceed with this company based on the bad experience.

"Hari, thanks for the feedback. This $560 repair project was completed 12 months ago. As discussed at the time, the floor showed significant damage in several areas, and we recommended a much larger area be repaired. Small area repairs are at best effort, and have no warranty unless we can take replacement wood to the edge of a room. We have to cut the underside of the groove to lay down the replacement boards. Sometimes they'll sit lower or higher as they can't lock in. We explained all of this, and you agreed to proceed. I'm sorry you're unsatisfied. As a gesture of good we never charged you for the repair, and offered heavy discounting on the labor to replace the floor."

Their estimate came in lower than a major flooring company. Since they had great reviews we decided we wanted them to do our install. We were not disappointed. They even finished a half day sooner than was estimated. We needed a professional job done, for us to sell our house. They did a great job. We will use them in the future if we need another install.

Alan Boden was very easy to work with. He assessed our problem and offered options. We chose the option that we actually hadn't thought of before. His crew did an excellent job of removing existing wooden flooring in kitchen area; installing travertine tiles; and ensuring all our concerns were addressed. Definitely would go to Footprints Floors for our flooring needs.

Nov 27, 2019 - Just finished installation of 1100 sq ft of Maxx Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring. Selected the Maxx product after reviewing the spec/reviews & comparing to local products. Alan, the owner, was very helpful in making our decision, answering all our questions & coordinating completion before Thanksgiving. Can't say enough about Harry's crew, the two day install was very efficient & focused on a Quality Installation. I would highly recommend Footprints Floors for your flooring needs.

We had to have some flooring replaced after having water damage by our back door. We did not have any more of the flooring and Alan walked us through the process including places to go to try and match flooring best. I was unable to be at the house, but had a family member there while the work was completed. Alan texted me with updates and pictures during the install process. It looks great! Not only did they do a great work, but customer service was superb! Thank you!!

Initial experience and quotes were great. However actual job took much longer than quoted. Attention to detail was lacking in some areas; multiple areas werent sanded uniformly so we now have unevenness in floors in a couple of places. Baseboards were put back poorly. Communication was great at first but then went downhill; we werent told the color we wanted was more and very different from what was in the quote.

We were very pleased with the finished product of our installation; the quality was high, when we identified issues, the crew came back to make adjustments quickly. Unfortunately, the project timeline was pushed back throughout the process, so we were in a hotel for several extra days. That said, we've used other flooring companies too, and despite the timeline push, their quality of workmanship was high.
