It went great. Bruce called me to say that he could get out there that afternoon, which was fine since I couldn't get out there with a key to the house until after work. I asked Bruce if he absolutely needed me to give him a key to the house, and he said no, he could just rekey the locks and leave the keys in the garage for me to pick up later. I got a call a couple of hours later saying the job was done...couldn't have gone any easier.

When we spoke on the phone he was in Denton, so he said he could come by later. He and his wife came over in a few hours, brought a doorknob similar to ours (he had requested a picture), replaced the doorknob, reset it so we could use our same key, and cleaned out the deadbolt on the door as well...all for $75, and all done with kindness. I will certainly call him next time I need a locksmith, and will recommend him to friends and family members as well.

I can not speak highly enough about the level of service Bruce provided. He was meticulous about the quality of work performed and the cleanliness of the work area's. He went above and beyond by helping out with a door lock in the garage I did not even contract him to work on. Plus he is such a pleasant man and courteous man. Bruce was pleasant and quite easy to deal with.  He answered all my questions when I first contacted him.  He showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule and even made a couple suggestions which ended up saving me money!  It's refreshing to deal with such an honest person.  His prices, compared to other locksmiths I looked into, were very reasonable.  It seems that he went above and beyond too, since he spent quite a bit of time adjusting the strike plates, etc so the locks worked smoothly (one of them didn't before I called him but I didn't assume that was his problem to correct).  He also told me a couple of times that we can always call him if we had any questions in the future.  I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again and have already recommended him to a friend. 

Because I’m in a wheelchair, which allows me the use of only one door of the house, and also mandates that I go through the screen door of the front porch, having these things working correctly and easily is a huge help to me. Having someone who showed up on time and then provided superior service, especially without exceeding estimate was wonderful! Bruce is a great guy who has made my life a little easier, and I sincerely recommend him!

I've actually used Firehouse Locksmiths 3 times now.. First was to replace / repair a deadbolt. Bruce fixed the existing deadbolt and I was able to return the new dead bolt I had bought. Second time was to replace the lower regular door knob/lock on an exterior door. The lock had jammed and would not budge. Bruce was able to unjam the lock and replace the intern parts. The next time he came to replace a deadbolt and rekey it to match my existing key.  Each time Bruce was right on time and the work was done well and the charges were reasonable. 
I recommend Firehouse Locksmiths to everyone I know.  They are first class all the way.

Bruce arrived promptly and is very professional. I had called him to rekey the locks and look at one particularly sticky deadbolt. He asked questions about other doors in the house and suggested moving a lock to the attic access on the second floor. He moved one handle that was upside down because it was for a door with a different orientation (left/right opening) and he drilled out the bolt holes because the deadbolts had never slid far enough into the door frame. He took the time to do these extra little things and did not charge extra for them. He was very thoughtful and careful in his work.

Bruce was kind, courteous, and polite. He arrived on time, took a look at all of my doors and gave me a quote before beginning the work. He was very fast and efficient. He even fixed the strike plate on one of my doors for free. He was very positive and upbeat. I am glad we chose Firehouse Locksmith. Bruce did a wonderful job.

He was very conscientious and lubricated each of the locks after changing the tumbler. One of the locks had been installed upside down originally. He corrected this without me mentioning the problem.

I called Bruce on short notice to install a keypad at my home. He was extremely professional, and highly efficient . He was friendly and prompt. He did an excellent job! I would highly recommend him to do any job that would require his locksmith expertise. I will use him again if I ever have a problem again.

• Bruce, owner, was very conscientious.  He took the time to correct alignment of latch and strike.  Also noticed air gap in rear door weatherstripping and corrected the problem.  We would definitely hire Bruce again.

Absolutely Awesome!!!!! 
Went above and beyond and did exactly what he stated prior to arriving.  Very professional and honest.   He also found several locks had issues internally and he fixed those items as they came up.  He was on time and explained everything very well.

Bruce was early, knew exactly what to do even after I was wrestling with solid door and couldn't gain access to the garage, my car, etc.  Great guy.  He's a US Army veteran and son is a fireman. I couldn't be more pleased.

Bruce was AMAZING!!! He was very prompt, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his work.  He was very sweet and showed our ten year old son the process of everything he was doing and was very patient answering all of his questions.  We HIGHLY recommend him and will definitely use him again as needed.
