I called Bill last night about a leak in my bathroom (coming down from the vent in the ceiling). It had been raining hard and I was concerned that it would get worse, since we are expecting more rain. He called me back a few minutes later, even though it was Sunday night and I was not expecting a call back until Monday. I explained the problem and even though he had a packed schedule the next day, he offered to squeeze me in between his two calls in the morning to at least diagnose the problem. He showed up promptly after giving me a heads up a little before 8 am and was there 15 minutes after his call. He went up into the attic and observed where the problem was, which was not due to my air conditioner but rather from the roof. He took me outside and showed me the two possible places where the leak may be coming from, the potential cost and which type of repair i needed. He suggested calling a roofing repair company. All of this at no charge (you can't beat that, can you)!! That is though the kind of guy he is! He is the most honest decent and down right a great human being. Bill has been my contractor since 2004 when he first came to my house to repair a broken air condition filter and I have not considered using any one else since then. He may not be the cheapest guy on the block, but you get what you pay for. With him I get the best, most honest advice and a reasonable price and many times he has charged me next to nothing, if the answer was simple and a quick fix. He is one of a kind and the best in the business in my humble opinion. That is why I decided to write this review for him, since I knew him before I became a member on Angie's list and I don't see him on the first page where he certainly deserves to be there among the top people for air conditioning in this area.

It was good. They came out close to Winter. I had to have a part so it went over. I spent about $57. They were quick and efficient.

Bill and his team worked promptly and professionally with me and my tenants to make them feel comfortable and make sure we all got taken care of. My tenant even commented to me "really nice guy!". A+

Service call and follow-up work to fix the leaking condenser coil on the compressor went very well. Bill was very professional and up-front. They completed the work as planned and my A/C is back in working condition.

So far so good.  They had a good quote price wise, it was a little high but they came in and got the job done.  They did what they said they were going to do and everything is working fine as of today.

I paged Bill on a Friday night with a furnace problem.  He texted right back that he would be there Saturday morning.  After arriving as promised, Bill carefully tried to troubleshoot the intermittent heater - sometimes it wouldn't start.  He refused to just start replacing parts until he was confident he knew which one.  He eliminated everything except the main board.  Because it is an expensive part, he moved the main circuit board from one furnace to the other one to be sure the problem moved too.  It did and he replaced the part. 

I appreciated the extra time he spent and his honesty!

Bill is the best and has serviced my AC and furnaces for around 10 years. He's totally reliable, honest and does great work. He's come quickly on a Sunday on an AC service and just replaced a compressor. I trust him to the level that he's done work when I wasn't even home.
Totally reliable and honest. It doesn't get any better than Cooling Texas.

I called Cooling Texas at 6:00am Thursday morning when my AC stopped cooling sometime in the middle of the night.  His wife Michelle called me shortly after to let me know that Bill would be at my house by 10am.  Bill is the owner and is the BEST AC repair technician out there.  He is honest, reliable, very reasonably priced and provides outstanding service!!  I highly recommend!

His name is Bill McKenna. He did a really good job. He got it working again for a low price. He didn’t charge us very much; it was a reasonable price. Anytime we have an air conditioner problem he will come out and fix it. He usually gets out here pretty quickly and fixes it. His demeanor and customer service skills are excellent.
