I would give them 0 stars if I could. In September, 2023, I had Collin County Sprinkler put in a drip line around my house to water the foundation. Also I had just planted a new tree in my back yard just 4 days earlier. I asked them to run irrigation to the new tree. I noticed after the crew left that they had removed one of the bubbler heads from a tree about 15 feet away, installed a T fitting from the first tree and attached supply line tubing to the new tree then attached the bubblers. Soon after, I noticed that the tree wasn’t setting watered properly. Another person showed up and told me that the bubblers were not adjusted properly. The adjusted them and it seemed to make it better at the time. Since the trees water before I wake up, I had not noticed the my new tree was not being watered properly, so when my grand sons come over, I had them to remove the bubbler heads from all 3 trees on the zone to see how far the water would shoot up in the air at each of the 3 trees. I was surprised that water was barely bubbling from one opening only. The other openings you could see water in the riser only. I called Collin County and was informed that it would be two weeks before anyone would be at my house. The finally came and was very punctually. After looking at the trees and taking off one head in the two tree rings that were in close proximity. After turning the water on, he said, the only way to fix this is to install a new zone to the tree that was installed last year and informed me that it would cost an additional $650 to have that done. The tech called Steve, the owner of the sprinkler company and was told by him that I was asked at the time if I wanted to put in a new zone and I turned it down. I WAS NEVER GIVEN THAT OPTION! The owner insisted that they did. How would he know for sure, he wasn’t the one that was here. I proceeded to ask the tech to have Steve call me to discuss the problem. Later in the day, a different person called to discuss the matter. All he did was parrot what Steve had told the tech earlier. I told him that apparently Steve didn’t have the balls to call a customer that wasn’t satisfied with the companies work, so he made him do it. So much for them guaranteeing their work. I think I read one reviewer say they guaranteed their work for 3 years. I think that is a little long. I had them install it, complained about the low pressure within the first month, complained about it again when they came out on April 2 to do a spring tune up and then come out on July 16th. On top of that I was charged ”a reduce rate” of $50 for a service call to look at a problem that they created. I would have thought if their techs were proficient in their trade, the would have mentioned that the tree needed a new zone— not only upon install, bit the other two times they were here instead of adjusting the bubbler heads and calling it fixed. If ir wasn’t going to work properly, they had 3 opportunities to tell me before I was finally told. I know this has been a long review and I chose them because of the large amount of 5 star reviews they have. However, if you use them, you do carry the chance of being the next one star reviewer. Save yourself the frustration and find a different sprinkler company for your irrigation needs.

Called me pretty quick and set up a time to come out. Showed up on time and fixed the system main control at the curb fast and at an affordable price.

They are wonderful! I hired them hourly+parts. Showed up a few minutes early and went right to work. Replaced the leaking valve, then tuned the rest of my system.

Called Collin County Sprinkler to do some repair work on my sprinkler system. They showed up on time, were very courteous, listen to my request and performed the quickly and professionally. I an very pleased and will use again when the need arises.

We had an inspection company inspect our sprinkler system for any issues. They identified about 8 problems. I called Collin County Sprinklers, they were very thorough and found issues that were not noted on the inspection, which included a broken pipe in front yard. They worked to fix everything and make sure that everything was perfect before they left. You couldn't even tell that they dug up the yard in many spots. They are very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend their services!

On June 19, 2018 a crew of about nine gentleman came to my neighbors house to begin digging to install a sprinkler system. Without any regard for the cable line or cable boxes within 20 minutes they cut both her wire and my cable lines. Apparently they knew they did it because within an hour a representative from frontier was knocking on our door asking if our Internet, our cable TV, and our phone lines were out. All three of the above were out. I assumed that since frontier had been notified that they would take care of the problem. The next day I found out that you actually have to call yourself and make a trouble ticket for the repair. My neighbors cable was miraculously fixed the very next day but it took them full 6 days to come out and lay a temporary line and then another five days to come back and bury the line. In the meantime I had to use my phone as a hotspot to try to use the Internet in which I used up all of my phone data. I run a home-based business in which I use my Internet all day long and I use the landline to run credit cards. I was unable to do this for 6 days. I also had to spend a bunch of time making multiple calls to Frontier to deal with this problem. I am writing this review in hopes for a response as I have called them and emailed them and they did not respond to the email and pretty much shrugged the phone call off as if this happens all the time and is no big deal. As a business owner I expect to be held accountable for problems my crew creates. If your crew isn’t held accountable for causing major problems and not investigating and checking to see where the cable lines are they are going to keep doing this without regard for anyone’s time or livelihood or added expenses they will never learn.

Work was done quickly and with minimal mess considering how much digging they had to do. Jorge was very knowledgeable explained everything clearly and accurately. Awesome job!

They did a great job! I have an up-to-date system with the latest smart-sprinklers, drip zones where I wanted, and coverage of my lawn//foundation.

Excellent Work

They were very punctual, explained exactly what the problem was, gave us the quote and did the job quickly and they did it well. Even though the digging is a dirty job, they did their best to leave the area ok (not soil thrown everywhere).

I am so happy with the service i received today from Mike. He showed up on time, immediately got to work, and fixed my problem. It wasn't a super simple repair. It required some creativity and he got it done in 90 minutes for a fraction of the estimate I had received from another company.

The repair went very well! I made an appointment with the dispatcher. I explained that the problem was faulty zone not working on my sprinkler system. She explained the hourly rate as well as the possible problems and cost associated with those problems once isolated. Michael (tech) was scheduled to come to my home the next day. Michael arrived on time. He was clean, and very courteous. I explained the problem of a station not functioning on my sprinkler system, and he got to work immediately. Michael diagnosed the issue and found that there as a faulty valve. While he was working, I followed Michael around, watched him work, and asked a bunch of questions about my system. He answered all of my questions in a professional manner. Michael replaced the broken valve, then tested the system for leaks. He also checked and adjusted every sprinkler head in the zone of the replaced valve. He cleaned up, gathered his tools, and verified that nothing was left behind. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work that was completed, and plan to use Collin County Sprinkler again in the future. I really like the no nonsense, courteous, yet professional approach that this company takes in doing business.

I truly believe the original problem was that Justin encouraged us to install our system before the beds were in or designed. I questioned him but he assured me I had a 3 yr warranty and coverage guarantee and it would be no problem to modify. There were 2 instances where a tractor doing grading damaged a pipe in the first year that caused the owner to call and rudely accuse me of all of the needed repairs over our warranty. He said pretty much everything out of my mouth was a lie and that he doesn't have to do this often but he is pulling our warranty. I have never received such rude treatment. He called and said he didnt even need to hear anything I said and his employees who acttually treated me decently was the only truth. There were several instances where valves failed and would not turn off. The main line became disconnected twice. Rubin told us it was not glued properly when we asked why it broke twice. Wiring failed. We are on a difficult lot that is rocky but as the owner accused we did not repeatedly rent tractors and drive through our now established landscape and break everything. They also cut right near the trunk of our 200 yr old post oaks after that was the main thing we discussed. The young guy did not speak English and refused to listen or stop.

Sprinkler repairs were done well. Programming did not take place.

Had a few issues but they were quickly resolved. I really like the three year warranty they offer as part of the installation.

I've used Collin County Sprinkler for both repairs and to add zones to my current irrigation system. I've enjoyed working with their friendly and competent staff. They show up on time for their appointment and complete the work that has been agreed too. During their last visit, Jorge pointed out a couple of issues that needed to be repaired that I had missed when I did my own inspection of the system. These additional items were repaired while Jorge and his crew were on site. I will use these folks again when I need future work on my irrigation system
