They replaced the hose, but they didn’t use o.e.m. hose . They charged $208.12 for a hose that only cost $89.00. So it appears they charged me an o.e.m. price for a cheaper hose. It was four hours of labor to put on an inferior hose charging me a total of over $700.00. Chances are I may have to replace the hose incurring at least another four hour labor cost. Their response was that the hose they put on is guaranteed to be replaced if it bursts. We are winter Texans and would not recommend this place.

I paid about half what the retail car repair chain wanted for these services. George is straightforward in his estimates. They'll even give you a ride if you need one.

I called in the morning to ask if they could do an oil change. He informed me that they were busy but would put me in as soon as possible. They recommended brnging the car in in an hour. They completed the job within 2 hours approx. We use them for all our cars. VW Jetta; Mercedez; and Honda.

The cost above is the most I have spent. They have replaced several items in my car for me.

I brought my truck in to have a radiator replaced that had a large crack in it. I also wanted them to check the a/c and inspect for an oil leak. Mr. Stutz was very informative and professional. I left the vehicle with them to check and about an hour or two later they called with an estimate of over $550 to replace the radiator. I asked about the a/c and oil leak and I was told that they couldn't perform an inspection until the radiator was replaced because they needed the vehicle to be running for some time to do a proper inspection. I made 1 phone call to Simon and Simon and got a quote for $270 to replace my radiator. (I took it to them and they did a wonderful and fast job - check them for my review). I called Stutz to inform them that I was coming to get my truck. When I got there, there was nobody in the office (the same as when I arrived the first time). Again, I went out into the shop to ask for help. A mechanic saw me, made eye contact, walked over to the car he was working on and went under the hood, totally ignoring me. I asked him if there was anyone in the office and he said it would be a minute. 5 minutes later, in the office, the same guy appeared. I told him I was here to pick up the truck. He had a bill ready for me for $25. I asked him what it was for. He said it was for doing the inspection. I didn't understand as I told them the radiator needed replacing, there was no need for an inspection. I later read the ticket to find out they performed an A/C pressure check (after they had told me they couldn't do any testing until the truck was running). I blew it off and went to get in my truck only to find out a couple of things that should have been in my passenger floor board had been removed and the glove box was open. I asked why that was the case. He took a look inside the truck and said that they had to do that to check the a/c. At this point I was furious. I told him I had been lied to because I was told by the other guy that they couldn't even perform any inspection without the vehicle having a new radiator. He actually argued with me and said that he didn't consider that a lie as I had orginally asked them to inspect the a/c and that's what they did. I asked him to give me the results of the a/c pressure ck that they had performed. He said he didn't have them. I asked to speak to Mr. Stutz. He said he was not there and that I would have to call when he was there. I asked him to have Mr. Stutz call me. He said, "No, you'll have to call when he is in." As if I have any way of knowing when he will be in. I'll tell you this, I have never been treated more unprofessionally in my life. The man on the phone that lied to me, and the mechanic that had no manners at all should both be fired. Mr. Stutz may be knowledgeable, but his employees are pathetic at best. And, to add insult to injury, the next day, a text appeared on my phone advertising for them that they could inform me of appointments via text if I opted in. NOBODY EVER ASKED FOR MY PERMISSION TO TEXT MY CELL PHONE. I will never use this company and in fact, if anyone asks where to go, I will tell them anywhere but Stutz's.

i took my car in on 7-12-11 and it was ready the next day 7-13-11. i was very satisfied with mr stutz. and his professionalism.

I've used them long term for various vehicles and problems. They're very professional and courteous. They also give a AAA discount.

Stutz successfully corrected all issues. This is the only shop that I trust with my vehicle.
