After trying to sell our own house, Star Properties took over. They replaced our nicely organized color flyers with black and white flyers that described our native landscaping as tropical and had several misspellings and typographical errors. Realtor communicated very poorly with us through the process. Her negotiations were extremely poor. At one point she called us to ask us what our bottom line was because someone was interested in the house. We didn't trust that she would keep this confidential so we told her a dollar amount above our bottom line. Once our contract was signed with the eventual buyer, we called the buyer's agent more than Marilyn, as she was much more helpful. Her explanations of the process were condescending. She made excuses for not doing things well. For example she told us that the used black and white flyers because her flyer boxes leaked and flyers were ruined in the rain. She negotiated with sellers without getting anything in writing. We didn't trust her.
