Overall the work was completed and at reasonable price but if I didn't know any better Joe would have cleaned my wallet out, luckily I always do my research as you just don't know who you are going to call... I showed him that I replaced the main sprinkler valve box and about 7 heads so clearly I knew something about sprinklers but that didn't alert him when he quoted me an astronomical price to make my repairs. A control valve costs $20 at most, he quotes me around $120 each with labor, and for the leak $300! So all together about $560!!!!!!!!!!!! I ended up buying the parts and charging him hourly with all repairs $140 total. That's a big difference.
We need a new irrigation system. He was very professional. We are waiting on the estimate which are free from him and he does not mind doing them.
