This is a mom and pop shop with a man who has been doing this a very very long time! I had a great experience and this is one of the most competant mechanics I have ever met and his shop is very very clean! I wouldn't take my honda anywhere else!!

Overall I believe they did a really good job fixing the air conditioner. It now blows very cold air. The owner suggested I get a windshield screen for when I have to park in the sun since there is so much glass on the vehicle, it lets it a lot of heat, so I picked one up at Wal-mart for about $10. When I dropped it off it was in the afternoon and I knew there were a couple of cars ahead of me. I didn't expect to hear from them that same day, but by the next afternoon I hadn't heard anything so I called. The lady in the office asked the owner when he would have some information for me - the vehicle hadn't been looked at yet - and he said by the end of the day I should be getting a call. I didn't, so the next afternoon I called and he had looked at it some but couldn't really give me an exact estimate. He said that to see what was wrong with the air conditioner he would have to take it apart entirely, but it could range anywhere from $300 - $1,000. A few more days passed and I hadn't heard anything, so I called and was told it would be ready the next day. It actually wound up being more than $1,000 but they also added some oil and ran some tests, so I'm not faulting them for being more than quoted. The only thing I was disappointed in was I had to call them for updates, they never called me until it was finished and then they called me twice in the afternoon to see when I'd be coming by to pay for it and pick it up. The day after I brought it home I noticed it was leaking oil (it wasn't before I took it in). I'm not sure if that is because they messed with it or if it is unrelated to any of the work they did. The people that work there were very nice and my AC works, I would definitely use them again but now know that I will need to contact instead of waiting to hear from them.

The owner seemed to have an idea of the problem and just asked me to bring in vehicle in. I brought it in mid-day and it was ready that afternoon. I was impressed because I had taken my vehicle to another repair shop for an estimate and they told me that they would have to run a computer check on the entire vehicle and it would cost $69, in addition of any fixes.
