I would hire this company 1000 times! They were the hardest working people. They never stopped for weeks until our job was completed. They had to tunnel through horrible rock and never complained. It was a joy having Shane and Paul in and around our home. Our house is FIXED! Also after all was completed, we had an unrelated issue and they helped with that as well! AMAZING!

Robert is a saint; he does great work and is very honest. He helped me at my mother’s property after she passed. He was quick to respond, informed me of what the issues were - literally showing me the problem inside the pipes with the camera. Thanks Robert!!

Worked with Adam and the excavating crew. Job lasted 5 weeks. Adam was very professional and polite and took the time to answer all questions. Always accessible by phone with quick response. Job was extremely costly and quite a shock to us, but we feel it was completed properly. Would use them again if necessary but hope it will not be necessary.

I'd like to recommend Mills Plumbing Contractors to anyone who has had a slab leak at their home. They specialize in slab leak repairs, and there are not many plumbing companies in the area who offer this service. We had to have a foundation repair done (Bummer #1) and in the process also discovered an existing slab leak (Bummer #2). While we were upset at the thought of having to do major and unexpected repairs on a home we were trying to sell, Mills Plumbing could not have been more wonderful. I worked mainly with the owner Robert Mills who was fantastic. He understood our frustrating situation and worked with us to repair the issue-- literally the next day. The job was done quickly, professionally, and he explained the plan to fix in a way which we could easily understand. I received frequent texts with pictures from the owner Robert to update me on repair progress and to explain the next steps. They were upfront about all costs and very honest in their assessment of the leak issue. I also would consider them very reasonably priced, especially when taking into account the amount of work required to get the job done. Mills Plumbing bent over backwards in more ways than one to make us happy. I have never experienced such amazing customer service in my life. They earned my trust and confidence, which is not an easy task. I hope you don't have to deal with a slab leak, but if you do, please call Mills Plumbing Contractors.

Shane was the plumber who conducted the inspection and fixed the sewer leak. He was very professional and polite. Shane explained the method used to determine that there was a leak and the location of the leak. He also explained the process to fix the leak. He showed me pictures and video of the sewer leak and the sewer line after he repaired it. He was very considerate of the fact that I did not want him to have to break through my tile floor to fix it (I don't have spare tile). Fortunately, the sewer leak was close enough to the edge of the house (5 ft) that he could fix it from the outside. The time to fix the leak was done within one day. The whole process including the inspection and the repair went very smoothly. Shane was very reassuring as this was the first time I had had a foundation issue, and was concerned that the sewer line repair was going to be complex and expensive. As I noted earlier, he was very professional and pleasant to work with. I would recommend Mills Plumbing and Shane for any work involving the water or sewer systems in the house.

I am pursuing a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and the Texas Dept. of Consumer Fraud against Mills Plumbing, and in particular their plumber Shane. Last night he informed me that the repair bill for the slight leak at 713 Autumn Lake Dr. was in excess of $7800.00 and climbing. He is claiming to be finding leaks in the drain pipes 20 feet inside the home. I called a friend of mine who is a contractor with a deep knowledge of plumbing and he told me that there was no way a slab foundation could have cast iron pipes, incased in a 3 foot thick slab, and have cracked and leaking pipes that deep in the foundation unless it has been in an earthquake or had a major fire that cracked the foundation. Nothing like that has occurred in the history of the home. A leak like that would have saturated the slab in its location and the carpet would be wet and there would be a strong sewage smell. There never was anything like that in the home. My realtor Kelly Rekart can certainly attest to that. The last time I spoke with Shane on the phone, he told me he?d found the only leak that was inside the home and said it was 12 feet in. He told me the bill would be $750.00 for the New Cleanout, and $375.00 a foot with another $375.00 for the pipe repair, but that would be the only cost. It would be $5625.00 I agreed to a repair price of $5625.00 and no more. Last night he texted me a said he found another leak and the repair would probably run past the 10 Grand point. He is fraudulently padding the bill. I have spoken with a neighbor who told me he has not seen a Mills Plumbing truck there since Saturday. Do Not use these people, especially their plumber Shane.

"First off we have excellent reviews on Angie's List & no complaints anywhere else, we are up front & honest, we informed you of the leaks & got your approval via text or phone calls, the cast-iron was cracked & we had to go further to get to good pipe, you did not want to pay & buyer had to seek legal action to resolve the matter. We held up to our end of the deal & would definitely not do anything fraudulent & unethical, we have been in business many years, our doors would be closed if we were dishonest & crooks."

I would highly recommend Mills Plumbing to anyone.  I was in the process of selling my home and had some foundation repair work done.  After the repairs, a plumbing inspection was performed (standard procedure) as the foundation repairs cannot be warranted until receiving an "all clear" on the plumbing.  Unfortunately, the inspection showed that there were leaks under the slab which meant "no warranty" until the leaks could be isolated and then repaired.  The plumbing company that did the initial inspection could not begin the necessary isolation test until mid January.  As I already had a closing date in late December scheduled for my home sale, time was of the essence.  I couldn't wait until January and needed a reliable, honest plumber to complete the isolation test and then do the repairs.  Mills Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend and I will forever be indebted.  Robert Mills, the owner, listened to my dilemma and immediately put me in touch with his top technician, Adam. Adam was at my home THAT day and quickly got his team in place to perform the isolation test.  One of (the many) things I love about Mills Plumbing is that there is no bait/switch or up-sell.  They have a set price list for every repair so you know immediately what you will be charged.  It is full transparency with no unexpected surprises.  Adam kept me informed every step of the way and took the time to thoroughly explain the process to me.  His team even worked a half day on Christmas (*not* at my request) in an effort to get all work completed by my closing date.  While I, unfortunately, had about 6 leaks that required a lot of drilling (I chose not to break up tile or hard wood flooring to get to the leaks as I was trying not to invade the integrity of the inside of the house), Adam kept me calm and answered all of my frantic questions.  He never lost patience with me and treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism.  Additionally, Adam and his team did an excellent job of cleaning up any debris that was left as a result of their repair work.  The final "ah-ha" moment came on a Friday evening (closing was supposed to occur the following Monday) when Adam called me around 8:00pm to say he was finishing up the final repair process and that everything looked good.  I couldn't believe he was working that late on a Friday evening and he was doing it for me.....his customer.  You just don't see that kind of customer service very often.  Mills Plumbing, in my opinion, is a first class plumbing company that truly puts the interest of the customer first.  They are ethical, prompt, fair and caring.  You will not go wrong if you ask them to do any type of plumbing repair for your home.

Plumber located two leaks in the sanitary line. Sent laborers to dig two holes to expose the pipe for repair, one of which involved breaking through concrete patio. The repairs were made, the holes refilled and the concrete patched. The concrete repair was terrible. The charges for the plumbing work were reasonable but over $3,000 for digging and refilling the holes seemed very high. Contractor agreed to send a concrete professional to redo the repair and lower the labor charge. To be fair, we don't actually know if the price for the job was high as we didn't get bids to start the process. Contractor has made a sincere effort to ease our pain but we still have serious sticker shock.

I was referred to Robert Mills by my foundation repair company. Because of my job my mom came in from out of town and handled the transaction. She explained she was only in town for the day when the leak was discovered and Robert had someone on his team come and do testing that afternoon. They found that the waste water was leaking. We scheduled them to come the following week to repair the leak. Again, because of the fact my mom could only be in town for the day, Adam moved some work around so his crew could be there to start work as soon as he found out where the leak was. They arrived on time, finished the job midafternoon, and left my yard in neat condition. Everyone on the crew was so nice and polite, and Adam was very helpful in making suggestions regarding the best way to do the work. I believe the price was extremely reasonable. I had several phone calls with both Robert and Adam during this time and both always either answered immediately or called back quickly. I highly recommend Mills Plumbing Contractors! They are honest, efficient, and fair.

Robert came out to do the plumbing test at the request of the foundation repair company and found there was a sewer leak. In a week, the crew came out to fix the leak in the main sewer line in the front flower bed. They found that when the house was built, only 1 clean out had been installed. They found a leak in the main sewer line with a camera, replaced the one cleanout with two cleanouts that should have been there when the house was built in 1997. A plumbing test was done again and another leak was found. Cameras and a probe were used to determine the exact location of the second leak. They determined that these 2 leaks were the only ones and were to come back on Monday to fix the second leak. The plumbing contractor that built the house had used a makeshift part in the sewer line from the toilet and it had been leaking since 1997. The plumbers had to jack hammer the bathroom tile and foundation to get to the leak. They were delayed due to a house closing emergency that had to be fixed so someone could close on a house. They apologized and got right to work on Tuesday on the second leak in the toilet sewer line.
They did a very nice job and I don't believe the cost was excessive. I believe Robert runs an honest business. They showed me the problem and I took pictures of both leaks. If we have another problem with the plumbing that we need a plumber, I would hire them again. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and were very nice to work with. They also put plastic down to cover the carpet and the floor so they would not track in dirt. Robert explained how the test worked and I watched them do a lot of the work. I feel confident that they fixed everything. They attempted to use plastic to keep the dust from going all over the house. I appreciate that. They also checked the water lines and found no leaks.

He was punctual and great to work with. The husband of an employee of mine was in plumbing and had hired him as subcontractor years ago and recommended him. I was very pleased with the work done and the way he explained what was wrong and what needed to be done to correct it. They tunneled about 9 feet under the foundation, made the repairs, made pictures of what was wrong and after repairs.

I was going to have to wait about a month to use the company that the foundation repair company. I got Mills plumbing name and number from a friend and they would be able to come out the same week. They came out and located the leaks pretty quickly and started the repairs the next day. The work was done over the next 2 days. They were professional and did the work and kept the dust from the work contained to their work area as much as they could. I would use them again for any plumbing projects.

All the digging and repairs took from Thursday thru Saturday. I did not have to be home while they were working. The crew did a good job, cleaned up very well, and they left it looking better than the foundation crew did. I was initially concerned since Mills was sent by the foundation company, but Robert was very professional and I think he did quality work at a fair price. I really appreciated that Robert sent pictures of each break and each repair as they finished them. The total cost for repairing four breaks was less than a neighbor paid for similar repairs a few weeks before. In the end I am very satisfied with the work, and I wouldn't hesitate to use Mills Plumbing again.
