Project was terrible. Our neighbor got a pool from Hauk at the same time, his finished two months before ours... and he had a bigger and more complex project. The issue I had is that Hobert Pools is NOT trustworthy. They do not do what they say, they will cut corners, and outright lie to you to get the project completed. I would NEVER use this company and NEVER recommend them. STAY FAR AWAY from them. I could write an entire book on all of the issues I had with them. My pool and grill were completed in May 2018 and I am just now writing this review to give myself time to see how things turned out. Issues - Cant keep their project managers, causing miss-communications, poor quality and corners cut, delays in work, wrong work, design not followed, etc. A few examples - Rebar at the top was not w/in the pool gunite over a 5 foot section, they slapped on more concrete to cover it up. Gunite guys used my own bricks to prop up the rebar off the bottom of the pool the day of the gunite - since they had not propped it up - due to me telling them it should not sit on the ground. Plumbing - did not run decking drains out to the middle of the yard as planned. Ends of drains were broken out, one drain was completely broken. Decking did not install the umbrella holders until I asked where they were. Outdoor Kitchen - last thing to complete. Did not build per specs I had given them. Could not get outdoor sink installed - Plumber and mason blamed it on each other. I ended up fixing the install myself. Sink leaked at Ujoint - fixed that myself. Mason cracked stone when installing doors. Finally got stone replaced and it was the wrong color. Took 4 weeks to correct the stone. Initially, they said the other "older' stone was just "dirty" so they tried to acid wash the stone. This resulted in them getting stains on the metal cabinet door. They lost the handle to the door, which I had to replace. Decking - concrete does not but up even with the back patio for a large section. These are only a few of the items. At final walkthrough, there were several items to be addressed. Never heard a word from them on addressing these items and at this point I didn't care if I ever saw them again. Knowing them they would show up and break something else.
