Brian, owner of H Customs, came out and listened to what we wanted and gave us a detailed quote. He explained everything we didn't know about the audio/visual features of the house and suggested what equipment would provide the best quality sound. The professional installer, Ian, was amazing! After he installed everything he took the time to show us how everything worked and even suggested additional add-on equipment to make our media room highly technical yet user-friendly. They did such a great job, we're already talking about our next project for them - home security cameras. H Customs does it all!

Very good, I would definitely use them again. They are a small outfit and they have to work you in based on their current job load. But are worth the wait.

Quoted a $90.00 service fee for coming. I estimated two hours and about $200.00. The owner came with another young man while my wife was home. They did the entire job in less than an hour and only charged $100.00. Excellent quality of work and excellent pricing. I will use again.

I moved into a new house with an empty media room, and knew very little about available options. I went to StarPower first, and was completely disappointed in the experience. The prices were very high there, sales staff knew very little, and none of the media rooms available for demo were working. I contacted Brian at H Customs primarily because he was local and had good reviews here. He did not disappoint. He was very timely in all communication, often emailing late at night answers to potential questions that I hadn't asked yet. Brian customized every detail of the room, allowing for the best viewing experience. While a full media room is expensive, he gave me several options for each component and showed ways to cut down costs without losing quality. They had the room installed in a day, and showed me how to work everything. They came back some time later and built a platform to elevate the 2nd row seating. Everything was done right, with no corners cut. You won't regret hiring Brian for your A/V needs.

He was amazing. He was in and out quickly. No questions asked. The pricing was great. He was professional. I would use him in the future.

About a week prior to installation I contacted Brian and got an almost immediate response to my inquiry. Within a couple of days Brian and an associate came out to look at the site, take measurements, and understand my requirements and budget. He was able to offer some suggestions based on his experience and I'm glad I listened to him. Brian worked up several quotes for me initially and worked with me to adjust things to my satisfaction. He was very patient with my questions and worked with me on the details and configuration. After I gave him the OK on the project, he had me on the schedule in a matter of days. Installation itself was quick and professional; he had it installed when he said he would. The results are outstanding - incredible picture and sound! My family and I are very pleased.

After having uVerse installed I was having trouble in my home theater. I called H Customs and they came out as scheduled and took care of the problem. He also made several recommendations and will be who I will use in the future.

Brian and a senior tech (Dell) showed up at the time promised and immediately got to work. He was very clear on what he planned to do and asked for direction on speaker location. I ultimately deferred to his judgment given his expertise. While Brian was installing the speakers, Dell mounted the LED TV in my master bedroom with all the components hidden in my closet. Both of them worked very efficiently and the end product looks very professional and streamlined. Dell even used his impact drill to fix my closet rod while he was running wires through to the closet. It is worth noting that the amount paid reflects the cost of the IR repeater and the mount for the TV. I will definitely be using them again.

Starting in Fall of 2009, I took several bids from AV companies, and I met with two finalists. Brian's passion, and spending time with me to discuss options, and answer questions sealed the deal. I like that he is local to Mansfield, and specifically takes on these types of projects. He also showed the experience and seniority to answer various questions, and was doing most the work himself to remodel his own media room. Jan 2010, he met with me and the builder (Sandlin Homes) to complete the wiring design. It had specifics for what I wanted including CAT6, RG6, and smurf tube for future wiring needs. It included insulation of all media room walls and upgraded doors. May 2010, the house was framed, and we went through and marked the studs for wiring placement. June 2010, Brian inspected the pre-wire work before dry wall. No issues found. June 2010, I insulated several interior walls which the builder would not do thanks to Brian's suggestion. Oct 2010. We closed on the house, and Brian came in the next day. He personally did most of the work, although he had two people help him with parts of it. It took two days to install the equipment and the cabinet with matching granite counter top. We enjoyed a blu-ray movie the next evening, and the media room was great! Dec 2010. We hosted a few parties with thumbs up from friends. The wife really enjoys Christmas music on the home audio, and the intercom has been handy. I have no reservation in recommending H Customs. I've already recommended him to co-workers. Brian Hugghins is someone that knows the industry, and can deliver an exceptional product.

I contacted Brian by email and we set an appointment. Brian the owner wired my speakers and connected all of my components correctly. He made some suggestions along the way. My system is back up and running! He will be returning to install a universal remote that is simpler to use.

I called him and he said he could make it out at my convenience. I said I could meet most anytime that day and he agreed to work me in. He arrived about 2 hours later at our agreed time, and did the work in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Brian arrived on time and had no problem putting everything together and setting it up. He was fast, efficient and took the time to explain things in detail as I'm not at all familiar with all this "new stuff" on the market today. He even answered questions VERY knowledgeably a few days later over the phone. I was surprised he knew exactly what was on our remote to talk me through a problem I was having. I will definitely call him again if we need anything else installed.

When we asked him how much for his service call he said "NOTHING" which floored both of us. He said he would not feel right charging us as he did not repair anything. Kudos to Brian Huggins owner of H. Customs Audio and Video. He is truly a young, caring gentleman. There are still good people out there, hard to find, but a keeper when you do find one.
