3 hours ago I have been without hot water for over a week! The warranty company assigned Elite and they came out the same day. They office called and let me know that the plumber would arrive in a plain white truck because his work truck was “in the shop.” Once he arrived it took less than 5 minutes for the plumber to say that I needed a new water heater and that since it was a 3 day holiday weekend that I wouldn’t get it until Tuesday (9/7). He also mentioned that I would have to pay an additional $680 on top of the money that the warranty company was already paying for upgrades and modifications. I spoke with my warranty company and they said that a new water heater has been ordered and was ready for Elite to pick it up. I have tried contacting Elite several times and no answer. I’ve even texted and still no response. I spoke once with the girl that answered the phone and she said she just so happened to be on the phone with my warranty company and that she would call me back within the hour. That was 2 days ago. It’s now the Saturday (9/11) of the following week and I’ve been without hot water for over a week. I’m a full-time working single mother of 2 active kids and this is beyond inconvenient…it’s wrong! I highly recommend checking the ratings of companies before doing business with them. After reading all of their 1 STAR reviews I would have definitely chosen a different company. ***Their company address shows a neighborhood home, which means that this is a small business. I really hate to write a review on a small company but it is ran poorly and they are getting over on hard working people. I advise you to take your money elsewhere.

Horrible. I wasted a whole week on these people. Per Nicole in the office, all of the issues were because of my warranty. When I contacted the warranty company, there was no issues...everything needing to be done was approved including cutting access to get to my faucet. After the 3rd trip to my home and several calls that were not answered and numerous other issues, I was frustrated due to yet another wasted day and expressed this to Brandon. They only give you a 4 hour time frame to which it is always in the 4th hour that the call you. When Brandon got there, he got mad and left because I didn't cut a hole in a tub frame so he could access the faucet. When he left the day before, he said he would be back and never once said I had to cut the hole for him due to the warranty not covering it. Per my warranty, access is covered, just not any repairs after. I have this documented on the work order he left. Never once did he say I needed to cut this hole out for him. He stormed out of my house and said he wasn't wasting time at my house. When I called the company after he left, Nicole stated he told her he left due to me cursing at him She said she he recorded me and that she heard the recording and that I was cursing him and his company using the "F" word repeatedly. She then replied to my complaint to the BBB that she heard me herself and that she never said there was anything recorded. I also spoke with the owner and he said he did instruct his employees to record conversations in the clients home due to treats that had been made to them in the past. While this may not be illegal due to the One Person Consent Law, it is unethical. Also, she stated to the BBB that all work had been completed. Again, I have the carbon copy receipt staring the cartridge they inserted did not fix my problem and that I needed a new faucet which was never installed. She also said the reason for so many visits was due to me adding on so many other items. There was only one other thing added and this was added per Brandon because in his words, "they would get more money." Again...I have documentation of the one add on item from my warranty company which can be provided. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional these people are. This was not the first issue with them. There was another time in February regarding a slab leak to which they gave me an a quote with a $5000.00 variance in price. But that's a whole other complaint in itself. The only reason I let them back in a 2nd time was because my home warranty sent them. If you are using your warranty, ask for another company unless you like unresolved issues.

"First and for most we did not lie about anything. We did everything by the guidelines of Mrs. Whites warranty company. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] had several issues at her home and every issue was taking care of and completed on July 18,2017 that her home warranty covered, we cannot move forward with any work until authorized by her home warranty company! Yes, we did make several trips out to her home 3 to be exact, due to her adding items to her original work order, that Brandon had suggested to do so that way Mrs. [Member Name Removed] wouldn't have to pay another service fee amount. Not so we could get more money we are on a fixed rate with the warranty company. We had two employees out at her home and the first tech stated that the moment he steps foot in her home she immediately started complaining and spitting out vulgarities, to appease Mrs. [Member Name Removed], we send a second technician out Brandon which in turn did provide service and completed the repairs that same day that her Warranty company authorized coverage for. She did have tub valves that needed to get access approval before we could move forward per her home warranty, which was reported to Mrs. [Member Name Removed] and her warranty company in detail by Brandon. Brandon arrived to her home to find access was not made and told her we could not perform any work as the warranty company did not provide Autho to us. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] proceeded to tell Brandon in her words "I'm tired of dealing with your effing company!" Which Brandon said that's fine I can get your warranty claim transferred and you can get another company to service you and packed up his tools and left because no service provider deserves to be talked to in that manner. He called the warranty company immediately as our technicians are instructed to report any unpleasant behavior to our company and the Warranty company. Our Owner spoke with Mrs. [Member Name Removed] that same day and explained to her how the Warranty companies work with their contractors and customers, at this point Mrs. [Member Name Removed] raved on and on how she liked Brandon how he was such a gentleman, great guy and did excellent work! So very confusing as today now we are horrible people! For the record, we did not record anyone nor have we ever. We do give a window for our appointments as they are service calls and not knowing what issues will need to be addressed once at the property. We also provide a courtesy call when in route to the customers home, which we do not have to do per the warranty company."

The tech guy fix it in a great timely manner, Advanced notice upon arriving . When I said I would be a little bit late he pushed his arrival time to fit my schedule an I thought that was considerate of him. They are very courteous and honest people never over charged and told me exactly what was wrong simple and with no complications . I would hire them again if I needed to... they Will be going in my Phone under emergency contract contractors for this type of mishaps . Thx again Elite Plumbing . :")

I would absolutely not recommend this company, as I feel I should not have to continue to follow-up or hound a company to receive proper or timely service.
Response from Elite Plumbing
"Yes the warranty company did dispatch the claim to our company but not until Monday after hours, as soon as we received the work order we called Mrs. [Member Name Removed] to set up an appointment time for a technician to go to the property. $60.00 is the service fee set up through the warranty company that just provides the home owner to set an appointment & get a diagnosis to the warranty company. That is not our companies fee. We then have to call in the diagnosis to the warranty company to get repair or replacement authorization as we cannot preform any work until authorized by the warranty company. A diagnosis was given three times to the warranty company and awaited the warranty companies approval. We have done everything by the warranties guidelines. We also have to schedule a time window ( as most service companies do ) due to not knowing how extensive the issues are to be addressed while at the property."

This contractor was assigned by the Home Warranty company- I called in claim on the 11th- they never called me- so I called them- they made appt for Wednesday , August 10th- Stewart came out- identified the problem- said he would have to order a whole new inside tank- ( pressurized toilet) and he would call me that afternoon or the next day- never called- I called Friday and spoke to to Nicole- - she said she would check with her tech and call me back- never called back. Following week I tried calling always got their voicemail- I called HW company who couldn't get ahold of them - Finally reached them Thursday- They said they ordered the part it would be in Monday the 29th and had us on the schedule for the 30th between 8a-12p- Finally were are getting somewhere- Tuesday arrives.... i get a call at 1130a stating that the part they ordered was sold by the supply house-Which I found odd because why not call us Monday when they didn't receive the part - Nicole went on to say that they could go ahead and replace toilet but it was a real crappy toilet but for 150.00 they could upgrade us and get a good toilet- I told her i would call her back - called HW company- spoke to them- called her back got voicemail- she calls back and I tell her to go ahead with the standard toilet and she says well I am gonna have to check with my tech and see if I can get him back out there. ( this was at 1215pm) i wait until 130.. try to call... voicemail ... leave a message- she calls me back at 230 and says I am sorry .. the earliest he can get out there is Friday - I said No thank you that would be over 3 weeks... that is unacceptable- so I called HW company who is now investigating them- and I have a new contractor coming out first thing in the morning. - If you want lies.. and a total runaround.. call ELITE in mansfield.. but if you want your work done in a timely fashion.. look elsewhere... ( They were fast to get out here to collect the service fee though LOL)

I called my home warranty company for a leaking toilet and they contacted a Elite Plumber as this is the contractor they use in my area.Nicole from Elite contacted me and set up a service call and the tech Stewart came out the very next day. He showed me the problem and said he would contact the warranty company and get back to me within 24 hours. The next day Nicole called and said the repair was approved and Stewart would be out the next day. He in fact was out the next day replaced the flange to my satisfaction. This entire process from start to finish was handled professionally and in a timely manor. I would not hesitate to call Elite for any future plumbing needs.

My sewer had stopped up and when my washing machine emptied the pressure forced the water back up through my toilets and flooded both of my bathrooms.  Although I lived in Henrietta, I had used Elite Plumbing when I lived in Arlington.  I called them to see if I was still within their work area.  The technician lived in Haslett and that distance turned out to be within their area.  They were able to come the very next day.  The technician gave me a call when he was on his way. He arrived on time and went right to work. He worked very quickly and was able to unstop my sewer in just a few minutes. He cleaned up the mess in my yard caused by the stoppage and then went to work replacing the handles in my shower. He completed the job quickly and cleaned up the tub and surrounding tiles when he was through. He was very professional and pleasant the whole time he was in my home.  I would definitely use this company again for any plumbing problem even  though they aren't local to Henrietta.  Even a little bit of a wait would be worth having someone dependable and trustworthy to do work for me.

People, RUN!

Nicole, the woman who handles the office work, has her invoices mixed up, and she'll tell you that. She also wrote down my number incorrectly to explain once why she didn't respond to my follow up call. Now I have called multiple times and absolutely no response. My faucet still leaks, and they were supposed to get everything taken care of in a 30 day time frame.

Don't even try to go to their office - it is a house in the suburbs.

Larry, the actual guy who came to the house was pretty nice and helpful, but when it was determined that the faucet needed to be replaced, that is when I started getting radio silence from Nicole.

We were forced to use this company because our home has a warranty that covers the type of repair we needed.  We will never use them again.
It took 2 days for the plumber (Stewart) to come to our house to even look at the problem, which was a Friday (04/10/2015).  He was late to that appointment and didn't even bring the parts needed to make the repair, even though he knew what the problem was.  He showed up today to make the repairs, late again (40 minutes later than the time he promised) and without the correct parts.  We were to have the "guts" of 3 toilets replaced.  The work Stewart's partner did seems to be fine.  The toilet tank that Stewart worked on is now lose.  When he was asked to tighten it, he said that it was not possible to fix and it did not matter anyways because it is not meant to be a back rest.  He then told me that everything in my custom home, built in 2000, is old and obsolete and he would have to search for the correct parts to fix it properly.  He should have done that in the first place. Evidently he does not know how to repair the tank.  It was not loose until he "fixed" it.  He then proceeded to argue with me, saying that if he "fixes" it again I will have to sign a waiver because it will leak.  Stewart was rude and unprofessional.  We will now have to call a true Master plumber to fix what Stewart with Elite Plumbing has done.

My water heater sprung a leak and flooded the immediate area around it. I called my home warranty company and they sent out Elite Plumbing. The home warrany covered the water heater and the install, however, the space that the water heater was housed, was not up to code and they could not install without it being up to code (we knew it wasn't up to code when we purchased house, but forgot). Larry from Elite Plumbing quoted me a quote of $737 and told me he could come on Sunday to install even though he didn't usually work on Sundays. While he was writing up the ticket, I randomly called another plumbing company to get a quote and they quoted me $1200!!!! Anyway, Larry showed up as requested at noon on Sunday and installed the water heater and brought the space up to code and it only took him a few hours. now we have an up to code space, it looks better than it did, and the new water heater works excellent!

We heard water running and none of the faucets were turned on. We called our warranty company and they sent out Elite Plumbing. Steven arrived and immediately found the leak under the slab. He worked with our home warranty people and waited on them to make a decision and then scheduled the work to be done. On the day of the repair, they were at the house at the exact time stated and began work. It took two days but that is what I was quoted so, no problem.
We were very happy with the work done and would use them again.

Even though the kitchen faucet proved to be more difficult than originally thought, Stewart would only charge the originally quoted price. Prompt, on time, and quality work. Will definitely use again.
