        My big, beautiful wall clock kept losing time, despite repeated battery changes.  The clock itself was quite inexpensive, but I'd shopped long and hard before I finally found one---an irreplaceable one---that perfectly suited my decor.  Knowing the situation called for replacement of the entire 3-inch-square quartz movement, I began calling around for estimates.  The first set of quotes I obtained were for more than double the cost of the clock!         Unwilling to give up, I continued searching till I discovered David Arnold, PhD, The Clock Doctor.  David came to my home the very next day and agreed he should replace the cheap and annoyingly loud (tick-tick-tick) movement with a better quality silent one.  He gave me a price I could live with, promising to return the repaired item to me after the specially ordered new quartz movement arrived and could be properly installed.         David The Clock Doctor was as good as his word.  My lovely clock was returned to me 3 weeks ago and is back in its place on my wall.  It now keeps perfect time, continues to look great, and it operates  quietly.  I could not be more pleased.  Highly recommended.
