Jose Diaz Landscaping

Jose and his crews are not skillful on decks. They may be good on hardscape landscaping but not on decks. They did not have the right tools for the job (He used chain saw to cut posts!!!). I had to be a quality control person on site everyday to make sure that they did things right. When I was not there, the quality went down hill quickly. e.g. The gaps between boards could go from 1/8 to 3/8. The joints were not flush. The project was originally estimated to be finished in 3 weeks. After 2 months, the project was only 70% complete. By then, he wanted more money for the project. He kept saying that he would come back to do the railing but he did not show up. His crews do not speak much English. Overall, that was a very bad expericne. His price was 1/3 lower than others but I would not hire him again for anything complicated.
