Pro-Fix Contracting Services, LLC

Our signed contract reads 50% at the start of work and 50% when work was completed. The original contract was for $7950. Abraham Vallejo, Jr., a/k/a Pro-Fix Handyman Services, Pro-Fix Contracting Services, LLC, (Pro-Fix), had a starting date of Monday, October 9, 2017 and our signed contract called for all work to be completed by November 1, 2017. They did not finish the work by the agreed upon completion date. Because of my previous commitments, on October 26th we signed a second contract extending to Pro-Fix Contracting Services, LLC,, Abraham Vallejo, Jr., additional time to complete the job and, against my better judgment, gave Pro-Fix Contracting Services, LLC, Abraham Vallejo, Jr., $1500 draw from the balance owed him at completion as he said he did not have the money to pay his men. The 2nd contract stipulated the remaining work was to start on November 9, 2017 and be completed by November 16, 2017. On Monday, November 13, 2017, he asked me for another $1500 draw from the balance owed as he needed to pay his personal bills or he would walk off the job. I said this was not our agreement and refused as I was not sure if I gave him another $1500 I would see him again. Because I would not front him more money, he walked off the job without finishing the painting. The remaining rooms to be painted were my bedroom, bath and walk-in closet. He did not return my bedroom dressers, night stands, or bed to the bedroom. They were left in the living room and kitchen. He never replaced the smoke detector, the air conditioning vents were left covered, ceiling fan left unassembled, door knobs and strike plates not put back on, and bathroom cabinet doors were not put back on. Items pictured represent only a portion of what was left unfinished when Mr. Vallejo left. Twice he breached our written signed contract. It is said “a picture is worth a thousand words” – I think these pictures speak volumes.
