PROCEED WITH CAUTION! We're in the Trento Community. They were/are HORRIBLE in every category! My wife wanted a new build and found a lot with a view she loved... that's when the problems started. There is ZERO quality control throughout the building process, constantly lied to by the salesman, Amit "Andy" Frias, as well as the "builders", Richard, when it came to overseeing the work and what was required for "code". Amit gave us a closing date that was much too early so we made plans and it ended forcing us into a home with a LOT of problems! There was constantly beer cans and fast food wrappers blowing around the community and stuffed in the walls of our home which attracted ants during and after the home was completed. They wanted to start a new upscale brand with our community ("M Signature") due to the cost of the homes and realized that no one was happy with the their final products. We have door frames that are skewed, mechanical failures with the ACs, trim that doesn't stay in place, light switches that are skewed and/or not secured to the walls, HUGE issues with erosion around the home, stair railing that is crooked and uneven, cabinets that have screws that are stripped out, spots on the floor where they used a colored marker instead of replacing the chipped tile, issues with the railing on the back porch that make it wobbly and unsafe, upgrades we paid for that didn't happen, etc. etc. etc. I have walked through several newly built homes by several other builders that are FAR superior in quality and cost, including those by KB Homes (yes, I think they are better than Milestone), Ashton Woods and others... they would probably cost less and you'd be happier with them. The icing on the cake? They are LOWERING the asking proce of the homes now which is hurting our home value because they need/want to offload the remaining lots. If you've gotten this far in the review, my final word of advice, "DO NOT USE THEIR PREFERRED LENDERS!" I'm not sure, but it felt like it was the first "jumbo loan" mortgage they (Guild Mortgage) had ever done! If you're getting a standard loan, maybe it'll work... but they had no idea what was needed to close; save yourself some stress and find someone decent.
