ENERCHEK INSULATION INC

Our home was built in the mid 1960's.  Access to attic was limited and the firm overcame any problems.  They arrived within 15 minutes of the time stated. (even with an accident on I35).  The workers were professional and left the property clean as it was when they arrived.

After purchasing a previously owned home built in 2003, we discovered dramatic temperature variances in different parts of the house. The house is 2-story with several first floor projections extending out from under the upper floor including the entire master suite. When we hired an electrician to add can lights in the master bedroom, he had to cut an access in the master closet to access the crawl space over the master suite. He told us there was no blow-in insulation in that area. Terry Taylor of Enerchek spent several hours reviewing our problems at no charge. Apparently insulation was not installed in all of those critical attic spaces including over the entire master suite, because they were closed off during construction. Terry advised us to contact the original builder to see whether he and/or his subcontractor would assist in correcting the glaring design/construction deficiency to protect their reputations. After several unresponsive attempts to allow them to review the problem on site, we hired Enerchek to solve our problems. Terry was very professional and thorough. His crew was polite, friendly and worked hard to solve problems left by the original builder and his subcontractor. We not only solved the original problems, but performed some upgrades in other areas as well. The interior house temperatures are now equalized throughout and we are looking forward to lower heating & cooling bills! Thank you, Terry!

They worked one full day with two workers. They had their routine down to a science and completed their work as quickly as possible, and covered up the floor area where they were working in order to lessen the clean-up afterward. Mr. Taylor inspected the job and workers in two different occasions during the day and was the last one to leave. He inspected the job and made sure everything was done properly.

Terry gave me so much of his time and information, helping me as a do-it-yourself to get the siding in decent shape for the insulation work, and giving me advice on how to repair the unavoidable plugged holes that you end up with after the insulation is added. He and his team are very thoughtful, very thorough, and very professional, and I feel lucky to have found them. My house has no central heat, and now even though I come home to a cold house in Texas Januarys, I can NOW heat it up with just a couple of space heaters, rather than constantly freezing my butt off. Yay!
