We couldn't be happier! The workers were hard working and very professional. Caroline was always checking in and has continued to do so to make sure all has gone well after installation. What was once an overgrown mess, is now a beautiful and colorful yard.
Description of Work
We needed a complete yard makeover. Caroline from Diamondscape came out before we moved into the house and we scheduled Phase 1, cleanup overgrowth and pruning existing trees and bushes back. She also provided us with a comprehensive landscape design for Phase 2. Phase 2 began with the complete makeover to include building retaining walls, the addition of flagstone in several areas, prepping for planting beds, and smoothing the existing yard out and spreading literally tons of dirt for sod. Once that was complete, the plants and sod was delivered and installed. Caroline listened to our needs and was helpful in making sure we ended up with a beautiful yard for our investment.

I love them, they are great. They gave a very solid estimate of what they were doing, and they work with you, as to what you want, and what you don't want. Their designer has a really good eye, and has designed a beautiful landscape that is easy to maintain. The crew comes out on time, they are polite, they work really hard, and they do an excellent job. I have recommended them to a number of people. I like that it is a woman owned business. The price is fair, plus they negotiate with you. She threw in a couple of plants for me.

Description of Work
we've used Diamscape for some time now. They did our initial landscaping of plants and flowers and planting of multiple trees and grass. The products they used were all in great shape. They even replaced a tree that they planted that faultered at their cost. They now perform weekly lawn maintenance and they do a really great job. The yard and side-walks and driveway is always blown off and looks really great when they leave.

My experience with her was superb. The lady gave me the quote the same day she came. When I wanted to change things, she got right back to me. I got the change in the quote and the change in the plan the day she came and met with me. She was very responsive. I had requested pictures of the stones that she had suggested for my sidewalk and she sent it to me the same day. The quote amount would be $6000 or $8000 depending on the stones that I choose for the sidewalk. The price includes doing my complete front yard, my small side yard and some additional work in my backyard. Considering other people that I talked to who weren't on Angie's List, her price was extremely reasonable. She listened to what I wanted and to my price range. She worked with all of that and was super good.

They all facets of the operation correctly. I have used Diamondscape for the last 7 years. They a full service landscape company. Franco inspects and fixes or corrects our sprinklers in early spring as part of the service. The employees are trustworthy and responsive to our requests.

Description of Work
We have been working with Diamondscape since November 2007. Caroline, the owner, worked with us to create a master plan at that time—one designed to resolve a number of issues--soil erosion---our lot has a deep slope across the front, unsightly exposed foundation, overgrown shrubs, “nuisance” trees, patchy lawn, and lack of privacy to adjacent homes, to name a few. Working in phases with Diamondscape, we have been implementing the plan ever since and are delighted with the results. Work completed to date includes a new retaining wall and rock bordered beds, soil amendment, tree, shrub and plant installation, areas of new sod, and a sprinkler system It incorporates native, deer-resistant, drought-tolerant plants in a low-maintenance design. It is a pleasure to work with Caroline, and her staff and crew. They also take care of our yard (mowing, aeration, mulching) and the same crew show up every time, all employees--no pick-up labor. We heartily recommend Diamondscape.

Diamondscape Inc. did a remarkable job. I was very pleased with the result. Basically, they made the landscape not just very beautiful but with more maintenance and more water. They did a lot of attention to the landscaping. They actually exceeded my expectations. It's really quite lovely there in the backyard. There was a very artistic touch to the yard as far as being flowing. It blends very well with my next-door neighbor's yard who is kind of a master garden. It ends up just flowing into his. So it looks like, when I come out of my yard, it looks like I got one enormous yard that kind of blends with his. She came out. She was in the neighborhood and verified just to see how things were months after they've been done. She is very customer-focused. I really enjoyed working with her. There were no hassles with this company. They cleaned up behind themselves. They have very nice workers, very hard working people.

I engaged with a company called Diamondscape Inc. We best had them perform the landscaping as well. They also came out and evaluated the property and drew up plans. They did my front yard in October and the completion for the backyard just this last April. The last time they were here, they transformed my yard. There was a repair to an existing sprinkler system, installation of about five small trees, numerous bushes, plants and basically treated the lawn that was in the front yard. They also replaced some patches with sod, molt. They also put in a patio in the backyard. That was from the previous September. They put in some other flag stones in the patio in the backyard.

We met Caroline at the Austin Home and Garden Show in January, 2013 and were impressed with her knowledge. She came to our house to assess our yard and recommend enhancements (consult fee of $200 was discounted 50% as a show discount). Caroline was willing to work around our schedule to set up meeting times, listened to our needs and preferences, and came up with a fantastic plan for resodding our back yard, removing undesirable plants, and replacing them with attractive but drought tolerant varieties. The work was done professionally, and we are thrilled with the finished product! I highly recommend Diamondscape for landscape design and installation.

We absolutely love Diamondscape. We met Caroline Foley (among others) at the Austin Home and Garden show in Spring 2012. We asked her to come out and provide an estimate. After getting only her estimate, we decided that we didn't even need to interview any others. Her landscaping work is creative and she works very hard to meet your budget. Estimates are extremely detailed so you can pick and chose specifically what you want done. Her work crew shows up promptly, most have been with her for years, and they work hard and know what they are doing. She follows up a few weeks after the work was completed to see how the new plantings and sod were doing. Our experience with her has been one of the best contractor experiences we have ever had. We plan to use her for some fall work as well.

Diamondscape maintains our 2 acres. During the summer, they come every week and during the winter, twice a month. They mow, edge and use a blower to clean off the decks. They have also sodded for us and repaired our sprinkler system. We have used them for several years and have been very pleased. The $200 is the monthly amount. They charge separately for other services.

I love my landscaping! Most of the year there are plants flowering in many different colors and it is a beautiful sight. Diamondscape is very professional and I have used their services for lawn and landscape maintenance continuously since my first experience with them. If ever I need anything or have any questions, they are extremely prompt and helpful. They are not a discount company as far as price, but then again they do not discount on their services either. There is a creativity and an attention to detail with everyone I have had contact with in the company that has truly impressed me. I feel I have received very high quality service over the years.
Description of Work
I started working with this company in 2007 when I did some remodeling on the house. They completely re-designed my landscaping and consulted with my general contractor, making suggestions on some of the construction. Caroline Foley proposed some rock work using Pecos stone that really makes my house look unique and attractive. She is very creative and hemphasized the use of plants that require little water and that are annuals. I should point out that my estimate of how much I spent is from the initial design and installation work Diamondscape did, and does not include the cost of their ongoing maintenance service (or extra jobs such as removing a tree felled in an ice storm) over the years. Also, some of the initial work was done by my contractor at an additional expense rather than by Diamondscape, but Diamondscape worked well with my contractor in a consulting role. My contractor is the person who recommended Diamondscape to me in the first place since he had worked with the owner before and admired her professionalism and creativity.

She was thorough, prompt, and enthusiastic, but the overall plan was very expensive and more some of the recommendations for stone work were much more expensive than we thought was necessary to achieve the desired effect. We were working with another contractor in parallel and in the end went with the other provider's ideas which were more aligned with our desired outcome.

Her staff is first-rate, very responsive, and they always leave my yard immaculate. Both Carolyn and Georgine Dodds (who I have had most contact with after the initial installation) are creative and artistic, friendly to work with, and try to be as environmentally conscious as possible in what they propose and in the work they perform. For the quality of the services they offer, I believe their pricing is very fair. It finally dawned on me that Diamondscape deserves a mention on Angie's List because I know others will be pleased with the company's work.

I first used Diamondscape's services over 2 years ago during a home remodeling project. The owner, Carolyn Foley, helped me re-design my landscaping, install a new sprinkler system and establish some outdoor lighting. She included the idea of using various sizes of Pecos stone, landscape boulders and xeriscape plants. My yard turned out beautifully and I have, since then, used her company to mow my lawn, replace trees felled by ice or hail storms, mulch plants, aerate my yard,and to plant varied plants in large outdoor pots that I care for.

We are very pleased with their work. I also have part of my yard fenced for my dogs. I keep the dogs in the house while they mow and they always take care of that area first so I can let the dogs back out before leaving for work. They always arrive on time. The crew is great.
Description of Work
Diamondscape takes care of our two acres. They come on a weekly basis during the spring and summer and twice a month during the fall & winter. They mow, edge, and finish by using a leaf blower to clean up the debris. They also use the leaf blower on our deck every time they come.
