Quentin came out and checked the dryer vent first. He found that there was good draft on the vent and no service was needed there. Then he checked out the chimney. We had been experiencing a lot of smoke coming back into the room. After checking out the chimney Quentin found that the chimney was clean but the problem was the cap on top of the chimney which allowed a down draft into the fireplace. We discussed pricing of repairing the chimney cap (putting on a new one) vs. installing vent free gas logs. Since we need to have a propane line installed in order to get the gas logs we were forced to wait but will definitely call Quentin to do the work when we decide to have it done. He was very helpful, very knowledgeable, polite and prompt. He would not accept payment for the service call despite the time and effort he took in helping us out.

X-Pert Chimney Services gave me an accurate estimate over the phone and scheduled the appointment at my convenience. Quinton arrived right on schedule and performed the work quickly and efficiently. He also added me to the service call list so we'll get a reminder next year about having this work done on schedule (this was the first time we had the chimney swept in 5 years).

They were very professional, and on time. I was pleased with the way they cleaned the complete area once they were done. The dryer vents were completely cleaned of lint and dirt as well. They did a good job and I will definitely call them again when I need this service.
