Matrix Roofing and Siding

I have used Matrix in the past to install roof jack gaskets... this time I needed a roof inspection and identify any repairs and complete the agreed to repairs. Inspection was made, pictures were taken in order to better explain any defects. Recommendations were communicated to their office and I promptly received an e-mail quotation. A maintenance service agreement or a one time repair approach were offered. Work was performed timely and professionaly. Nice job Bradley on an extremely hot day. .

As instructed by our insurance company we began searching for roofers. Our roof was old and needed to be replaced but the limb broke one of the supporting rafters and the ins company refused to repair it until we removed part of the roof to prove the rafter was really broken. The shingles were old and we knew that removing them before we could replace the roof would lead to even more damage inside the house. In fact every estimate we received included repairing the rafter. We asked the well-known insurance company for a re-inspection. |We had been impressed with Phillip Jackson of Matrix but had not made a decision about who would get the job. We explained to all the roofers that the job would be delayed because of the insurance problems. Phillip volunteered to come over and explain to the inspector how he knew the rafter was broken and said 'whether I get the job or not because this is not right'. The inspector finally showed up for a re-inspection. Phillip was there. The ins co would not budge. 2 months later Phillip was still in touch with us. One day he came by and said 'I wonder if I can see the broken rafter from the soffit area that was broken. He got a ladder, climbed up partially into the attic(it is only 4 ft high at the highest point) and was able to take a picture of the broken rafter with his phone. We sent the picture to the agent and they agreed to pay for the broken rafter. Matrix went above and beyond their responsibility. Of course they got the job. In addition to a new roof, we needed a mason to repair the stone facade, soffit repair and painting. We finally settled with the insurance company in August of 2012. Matrix R&S showed up when they promised, provided all the trades needed and everyone did a very professional job. I have recommended them to several friends and continue to carry their business cards with me at all times. I highly recommend Matrix Roofing and Siding.
