I brought the car in for an A/C check which was $18.99. When I picked the car up I was told freon was added and was charged an additional $19.99. However, the A/C never blew cold. I was told to drive it for a few days to see if there was any leak. When I brought the car back about a week later (to have the steering checked because it was making a noise.) I told the owner the A/C never blew cold and I don't think freon was ever added because I brought the car to a different repair place that also added freon, and it did blow cold after that. I was disappointed that I was not offered a refund or reimbursement for the $40 A/C charge which I thought was only fair since I did pay for the freon but did not get it. I did go ahead and have the steering repaired which turned out to be $1100 to have the rack and pinion replaced. An additional hose was needed which put the cost over the original estimate. However the steering seems to be working fine.

When I started my car to drive out oft he shop, I noticed one of the problems was still there. the next day when I was driving to work, the other problem showed up. I feel like they didn't want to take the time to check out my car properly. They did fix the easy part, and it was reasonably priced but why didn't they keep my car and check for the problems I had told them about?? my car almost died on my way to work. I will be going to a different mechanic from now on.

They do great work. They've used them on at least 2 occasions and they did a good job both times. They are great. They are really good. They are the only people I'm going to let touch my car.

This company is excellent.... They took the time to look at my brakes and give a second opinion on what my brakes needed. They are very safety conscious and were afraid to let me leave w such bad brake pads.......Concern for the safety of the customer is something you rarely see.

They called me about four hours later and said it was finished. I picked it up, asked a few more questions about the rotors, the caliper pins and they answered me honestly. I asked how they seated the new pads and he told me the correct answer. (I asked just to confirm that they had taken this important step).

I decided to take it to Magnolia Auto as a first time customer to get a second opinion. Jeremy was very courteous and informative on my initial phone call. After looking at the vehicle, they said I only needed to replace an o-ring on the power steering pump (cheap) and I decided to have the brake fluid flushed although they said I could wait a little longer if I wanted. They saw nothing wrong with the starter, no evidence of leakage on front axle, and they said the mounts above the struts were making the noise but I probably had another 30,000 miles of life in them (they aren't unsafe). I greatly appreciated their honesty and will be a repeat customer for certain! They also brought me home and picked me up again while the vehicle was being serviced.

Professionalism was outstanding and service was excellent! They explained (in terms that we could understand) the problem with the check engine light and what repairs were necessary to correct the problem. We have not had the problems since their repairs.

I drove up without an appointment and explained my concerns with the brake system. They were able to inspect the car in short order and were very up front in explaining what they found in language I could understand. They showed me the worn parts and fully explained my options for replacement part costs before proceeding with the repair. Needless to say...I was impressed.
The folks behind the service counter were pleasant, friendly and professional. Their costs are totally in line the best I can tell and the quality of the work of their mechanics is excellent.
I will continue to use Magnolia Auto Specialist and I am completely comfortable recommending their business to anyone interested in finding an auto service shop that does good work for a good price.

I have been using this business for over three years for both large and small repairs. The job size makes no difference, they provide excellent service and quality work. They do use orignal manufacturer parts so they are somewhat more expensive than if you went the after market/ salvage route. However, they provide an extended guarantee on all their work.

My experience with Magnolia Auto Specialist went very well. My truck is not missing any more, nor does it make the squeaky noise and rattling from the front end. My truck is about 15 years old. We had previously replaced all the ignition coils except one and that one was the hardest to get to so we had Mag. Auto Specialist do it for that reason. They replaced another one that they said looked bad at no additional cost to us because we were already having so much work done. After driving my truck around later on in the week from picking it up, I noticed that every time I accelerated, my AC would switch to defrost. My husband said it sounded like a vacuum line might have come loose during the work so he called them. They found a pinhole leak in one of the lines and replaced it at no additional cost to me. I would recommend them to anyone.
