The pool is sparkling clean when they are through. The chemical balance is very good because there is no algae or mold on the the pool. They are also very thorough, they keep excellent records on our pool. If they are unable to come, due to weather, etc, they always call. They are always right on top of everything in a positive manner. They are polite and hard working. They are also knowledgeable about pools.

Lone Star Pools has done our weekly pool cleaning for about 7 months.  They always come as scheduled and provide me a weekly report via eMail.  The water quality is always spot on and the pool is sparkling and beautiful. The personnel is so nice and courteous and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly.  Haven't needed any repairs yet but will not hesitate to use them when needed. Overall, great, great service!

They begain the very next day with changing the water, testing and treating ... Very easy to communicate via phone and email. They actually email status of the pool and time to swim when treated with each weekly visit. Lol they even helped retrieve an umbrella that was at bottom of the pool.

Was very impressed with this company. Every time I called I spoke with Eddie and he was polite, helpful, and professional. They looked At my pump Friday and came and fixed it on Monday. I thought their prices were more than reasonable. I didn't have to be home for either visit. They came and looked at my pump and charged me nothing for the service call. Every other company I called wanted like a $100 service call fee. I really appreciated them not requiring me to be home for either service call as I would of had to taken off work. I would definitely recommend them, and I would use them again!

He is outstanding, punctual and so helpful! I don't have to worry about anything. They spoke up for me when another company tried to take advantage of me. I still use him now. He is fair, trustworthy and he doesn't try to price gouge me.

As a long time resident of The Woodlands, Lone Star Pool Pros is by far the best pool service we have ever had. Over the years we have used several different pool companies and no one has even come close to quality of service and professionalism they offer. They come out every week and email me a detailed report that shows me the chemical levels and and what chemicals were added. Garrett, our service technician is awesome! We are dog poeple and he is conscientious of our dog and makes sure to keep the gates closed. I've called there office on several occasions and I've always spoken to someone that answered my questions and emails. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The previous company did a very pool job and Lone Star had to fix their mess.  Lone Star did a very good job.  They also supply weekly email reports of what they have done and what chemicals were added.  They are wonderful.

I called Lone Star Pool Pros to come out and give me a quote to replaster my pool and do some other repairs. After calling another pool company, that didnt answer or call me back, I called them and they answered almost on the first ring. Eddie was very knowledgeable and set up an appointment for the very next day. They called before they came out and were here right on time. We talked about my options with the plaster and they showed me some awesome work they had previously done. I had a quote within an hour of them leaving. We took a few days to decide on who to use but Lone Star impressed us so much we decided to go with them. We called them back on a Monday and they had my pool FINISHED by the weekend. (Repairs included) To top it all off we had wanted to get new tile but they talked us out of it and gave us FREE TILE CLEANING!!!!! I was blown away. The tile looks like day one!! During the process of the repairs we got emailed notifications of the scheduling anytime they were coming out. We recently had them start managing the pool and its a weight lifted from us. We do not have to do anything but watch the water level. They include all chems and send me a doortag to my email so I get it as soon as they are done. This company is the best pool company I've ever had. We will be recommending them to all my friends with pools. If you dont have them as a pool service provider you are missing out. They are family owned and great people to deal with, and really make you feel comfortable when it comes to getting work done. THANKS GARRETT AND EDDIE!!!

My wife and I moved into the Houston area in July. I called several pool companies but settled on Lonestar. They have fixed a few things for us, installed an automatic clorinater and removed a diving board. The only reason I gave a "B" on pricing is just that. They are a little higher priced than others I called but overall I am extremely happy with their service and professionalism. I would definitely recommend them to any one.

The pool went 2 weeks without service before they came so it was slightly green. 8 weeks later the pool was still green and I was not able to receive a reason for this or a solution so I switched with a different company. Eddie was nice and sounded knowledgeable but he was not the one taking care of my pool...not satisfied with the quality of service. New pool company had it blue again within 1 trip!

UNFORTUNATELY, THEIR RESPONSE BELOW IS NOT ENTIRELY TRUE. WE MOVED INTO A HOME WITH A CRYSTAL CLEAR POOL (NOT GREEN FROM THE PREVIOUS COMPANY), DIDNT KNOW WHO THE PREVIOUS OWNERS USED SO WENT 2 WEEKS TRYING TO GET SOMEONE IN WHEN THE POOL TURNED SLIGHTLY GREEN. THE POOL STAYED GREEN EVEN AFTER WE HIRED THIS COMPANY AND WAS NOT ADDRESSED UNTIL I CALLED ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND HOW TO RESOLVE IT.  I AM NOT A POOL PROFESSIONAL SO HOW WOULD I KNOW WHAT A CYA LEVEL IS IF THERE IS NO FURTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED. AFTER I TOLD THE TECH TO DO WHATEVER WAS NEEDED TO FIX THIS, (AGAIN) GIVEN I AM NOT A POOL PROFESSIONAL, NOTHING WAS DONE. AFTER THE 3RD ATTEMPT TO RECONSILE THIS, I CANCELLED MY SERVICE. IT APPEARS THE TECH IS NOT FEEDING WHOEVER WROTE THE RESPONSE THE CORRECT INFORMATION. ALSO, THE PRICE AND ADDRESS ARE 100% ACCURATE (SORRY, I INCLUDED TAX TO THE TOTAL AS THEY DONT TELL YOU THAT ON THE PHONE...).

DUE TO THE LIES, I LOWERED MY GRADE FROM A 'D' TO AN 'F'.

"As a professional service provider we pride ourselves in customer contact and follow-up in keeping them informed about the well being of there pool and pool equipment. It is unfortunate that this customer has chosen not to recall that we constantly told her of the issues with her pool. We began service on 6/17 and stated on that day that the CYA was high and the pool needed to be drained by 2/3 to dilute the CYA and that we strongly recommended an inline chlorinator to help with the distribution of chlorine. Each week we reminded the customer of these issues via electronic door tags (documentation was provided on 6/17, 6/24, 7/1, 7/15 not to mention the numerous phone conversations). We even notified them when their skimmers were clogged with pool toys, which was also inhibiting the equipment from working properly. The customer even responded via email on 7/15 to inquire about the items on the door tag which we stated again were issues causing her pool to keep turning green, but still she chose not to take action. Its disappointing that we were in constant communication with the customer regarding their pool but they chose to report on here that we did not communicate with them at all, also they chose to report that we charged them more than we actually did, and the address that they provided here is not even the address we serviced - which they only had service with us for 7 weeks, not 8. Their pool was green when we they began service with us, which they even mentioned when they called us the first time to get pricing and they stated they had canceled their previous pool cleaning company because they could not keep the pool from turning green (in hindsight that should have been a red flag for us). We were able to get it looking a lot better by the next visit, however they did not take action on any of the underlying issues causing the ongoing problems so it kept recurring. We cannot be responsible for items outside of our control. If a homeowner is not willing to take actions to keep an issue from reoccurring, we can not be held accountable once it reoccurs. Sad to see so many dishonest statements in this customer's review."
